Full-screen wireless CarPlay solution for W177 2018+
Hat jemand Erfahrung mit einer solchen CarPlay-Schnittstelle? Auf AliExpress sind mehrere Versionen verfügbar, die drahtloses CarPlay im Vollbildmodus für NTG 6.0 bieten.

Yes there is a DSP, but I definitively prefer the audio via Bluetooth, or even directly from MBux (with online music, or tuneinradio or MB usb), and not only because sound is louder but because the equalizer from the dsp did not convince me.
If the return/refund of the module had been simplier I hadsent it back.
For me, Its only advantage is to bring the fullscreen. But there are disadvantages, like AR camera loss, MB Usb stick for audio/Speedcam/movie, even if music can be played from the usb of the box), and without talking about audio quality when you use the jack-usb, and... the PRICE, which is in fact the price for smarphone integration pack.
But, when you have used the full screen, it is hard to go back to the little screen.
IMHO it is worth for whom does not have MB maps, or the smartphone integration pack.
Currently, when I use the audio from the box, with its usb plugged, my setting is on 6, if I remember, it was maybe set on 1 when I had received it. I don't know the meanings of different settings. (I have loudspeakers of SA854 Advanced audio system).

Ah! Yeah I didn’t have the smartphone integration package bought and also do not have AR navigation. So for me it’s definitely worth it. Playing music over AUX vs Bluetooth has a slightly noticeable difference. But I wouldn’t say that it’s a massive dealbreaker to me. It still sounds great but you have to crank up the volume just a bit more compared to full Bluetooth functionality.
I got used to the MBUX navigation, but Apple Maps / Google Maps are still far superior. That was my main purpose of buying the CarPlay interface as MBUX navigation has let me down multiple times or rerouted me to extremely weird side roads for a 1 min time gain.
Only thing that doesn’t work for me is when I change the temperature, the black bar with the temperature as advertised doesn’t come up. I’ve contacted the seller and he stated that he will help me out with the settings to get it working. Does it work for you?

I'll let you know when the seller gets back to me. I've also requested to have the logo that takes you to the box settings changed to the official Mercedes logo like in their video/listing. Just something small but definitely looks better and more 'OEM'. The seller said that he will set-up a software file that I can use to update the software to have that changed.

Thanks for the info, but I've been into factory menu, activated the toggle button about air conditionning to be visible, synched anada restarted but still the same. I can't see anything on main screen when I change temperature, while using the module.
Software version is Ksmart_DSP V3.20.07.0510
oops after a while and a cold reboot, it now works for me too.
You seem to be in relationship with the builder. I can't, and my seller does not seem to have same knowledge
Did he told you about the AR camera ?

I indeed bought it from the manufacturer so they are able to assist directly. They're extremely responsive and helped me out with a lot!
I will ask about the AR camera for you! The version of your interface that you mentioned previously is an older version than that I have.

After doing all these changes I am completely satisfied with the product. Music now plays through AUX - Navigation turn by turn works and goes through AUX and so does Siri. But when I get called it goes through Bluetooth of the car (automatic switching) so that there is no delay and loss of quality.
And with this option (see bottom link) you can also get turn-by-turn sound through Google Maps whilst connected fully to Bluetooth. Thought I'd share it with you 🙂

I have downloaded your files, but for fllashing new firmware I am not sure yet if I will do it, (even if I really would like to). But as I have a sort of warranty... Firstly, I think I will try to ask my seller if he has a new version for me.
I will try for sure the settings for phone calls. For audio with waze etc... it already works like you describe.
I have big doubts for AR camera, but...

I've asked the seller about the AR camera and he states that unfortunately the AR camera does not work when you have CarPlay on the front screen.
Ok thanks anyway. Too bad for me cause with the original Carplay the AR camera works and switches automatically at redlights even while waze is running. Of course, the guidance arrows in AR work only with the original GPS from MBux.
I've noticed also that the popup of wireless charging does not work with the module.

I haven't played around with the sound type yet. Might need to give them all a try to see which one suits me the best.
Just a side info: I’ve got this cheap adapter from Amazon called car link.
With the latest you can change the resolution, but independent of the resolution the small viewport stays the same

The audio sounds inferior to me compared to Bluetooth. As it would cut off some lower 20hz elements
So for more punch I still get back the Bluetooth (yes)
So in other words: even if we get full screen CarPlay I would even expect a full bandwidth punchy sound
