Drive Select nachrüsten/codieren (FACELIFT Modell)

Hier die erfolgreiche Codierung und Bilder vom freischalten des DRIVE SELECT beim A5 Facelift mit MMi :
(die Codierungen sind soweit gleich geblieben mit dem VorFL (siehe unten) - die Anpassungskanäle müssen NICHT geändert werden!
Die Einzeige ist im CAR Menu direkt dann aktiv und auswählbar!
Die Codierung und Freischaltung von Drive Select im Bordnetzstg und im Mmi (hidden Menu) :

-BordnetzStg 09
Byte 7, bit 5, von 0 auf 1

Byte 8 Bit 0 von 0 auf 1 - Motor und Getriebe (im Dynamic Modus das getriebe auf "S" geschaltet // nur bei Automatik
Byte 8 Bit 1 von 0 auf 1 - für Lenkung (bei SERVOTRONIC)
Byte 8 Bit 2 von 0 auf 1 - Motor
Byte 8 Bit 3 von 0 auf 1 - Dämpferregelung (muss natürlich dann auch vorhande sein)
Byte 8 Bit 4 von 0 auf 1 - Dynamic Lenkung
Byte 8 Bit 5 von 0 auf 1 - Sportdifferenzial

Byte 17, bit 7, von 0 auf 1 // nur bei Mmi 3G/2G/3G+ - Individual Modus freigeschaltet
BYTE 19 BIT 6 (WICHTIG !! damit funktioniert erst die Beleuchtung des DS-Tasters richtig !
MMi hidden Menu freischalten : (damit wird der Eintrag im CAR Menu gesetzt;vorher hidden Menu freischalten
AP 06 auf 1 im Stg 5F )

Beim MMI 3G: => Menüpunkt “Car” anklicken, dann auf “cardevicelist” runterscrollen auf “Charisma” und anklicken.
Eine Ebene zurück, dann auf “carmenuoperation” klicken , auf “Charisma” runterscrollen und von 0 auf 1 stellen.
NEUSTART MMi

Der Taster braucht nicht nachgerüstet werden, die Modien werden so durchgewählt über das CAR Menu ; Optional kann man den Taster aber auch nachrüsten und es funktioniert damit wie ab Werk!

TFL über Rückleuchten aktiv
Spiegelabsenkung Beifahrerseite
TV free
Drive Select
HillHolder (codierbar + taster nachrüsten)
LapTimer mit Öltemperaturanzeige
Ambientebeleuchtung
Hidden Menu
Batterieanzeige (geht nicht- da fehlt wahrscheinlich noch irgendwo eine unbekannte Einstellung)
Abbiegelicht über Nebelscheinwerfer
....

So if understand correctly, byte 11 not needed to change. I recode the byte 11, bit 7 to 0 again and change byte 17, bit 7 to 1. Then I test it.

In this case, i can change the steering assist bit?

Stg 44 need the coding of drive select

I change the codding from 100000000001 to 100000010001. (byte 3, bit 0, change to 1).

I preffer keeping DSR enabled. so byte 0, bit 4 still activated on my case.

About 09-Centr. Elect module,

09-Byte 7, bit 5, changing 0 to 1.

09-Byte 8, Bit 2, changing 0 to 1

09-Byte 11, bit 7, changing 0 to 1

. I revert to 0 again as you recomended, and activate Byte 17, bit 7, but i think that this coddig only activate ADS on MMI. On my case, with Concert Radio and MMI, this code (byte 17, bit 7 changed to 1) not show anything over MMI.

Adaptation for channel 66 was changed from 15 to 46.

This is the end codding on my case?

Ok. I understand you.
Revieiwing the long codding for another car with drive Select from factory, appears that 44-Steering Assist have long codding 100000010001.
My factory Long codding without Drive Select has 100000000001, so i think that i need to change this bit. Using Vag 11.11.3, this module haven't labels so no descriptions for this bits.
Now shows like this, with the bit changed.

My car haven't extras for Steering Assist, no S-Line...

Yesterday, i change for 9-Centr Electr, byte 17, bit 7, but i think that this bit only activate the DS on MMI. I have only Concert radio, so no appears nothing new over the Car menu in MMI. I revert to 0 and change again the byte 11, bit 7 (activated). This appears to control the clima over Efficiency mode. I think that today can be test (I'm from Spain, today weather forecast max will be 36º C)

OK, but i thik there is a mistake in byte 8 HEX 01 in your post according my car ¿?¿? (I think)

Byte 7 -> Drive Select enabled.

Byte 8 ->04 Hex (engine). I have only 6 manual gearbox, 01 hex enables Servotronic DS ( i think that i haven't)

Byte 11-> Klima low in Efficiency mode DS.

Byte 17-> DS in MMI

44 - Steering.

Byte 3->01 Hex.

Adap. Channel 66 = 46

1 = Individual (Only MMI Navi)

2 = Comfort

4 = Auto

8 = Dynamic

16 = Offroad

32 = Efficiency

64 = Race

Lets do a summary für FL, manual shifted 6-gear with radio concert.
Engine: 2.0 TFSI 211 HP
Steering-gear Servotronic
S-line with conventional S-line shock absorbers
Stg 09
Byte 7 Bit 5 0-->1 (enables DS)
Byte 8 Bit 0 0-->1 (Engine & gear [even on manual shifters???])
Byte 8 Bit 1 0-->0 (Servotronic steering - not to be activated, why?)
Byte 8 Bit 2 0-->1 (Engine - already enabled with Bit 0???)
Byte 8 Bit 3 0-->1 (Adaptive shock absorbers - n.a.)
Byte 8 Bit 4 0-->1 (Dynamic steering - n.a.)
Byte 8 Bit 5 0-->1 (Differential -n.a.)
AP 66 Cange from 15-->46 (enables efficiency mode)
What I don´t understand is, that the bit for Servotronic has not to be activated, even if the car is equiped with it.
In my case, the DS-modes appear in FIS but the change in steering effect is almost unable to recognize.
With 8/0-1 and 8/1-0 and 8/2-0 there seems to be no difference to gas pedal response regardless what DS-mode is choosen.
With 8/0-0 but 8/1-1 and 8/2-1 gas pedal response is much more sensitive then in comfort mode.
And what about the AP? To change or not to change? That is the question....

Hey zusammen. Jetzt hätte ich auch mal ne Frage. Ich hab bei mir erfolgreich DS inkl. dem Taster nachgerüstet. Mir fällt aber auf, dass auf dem Taster der ausgewählte Modus extrem grell leuchtet. Ist das normal? Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Bedienteilen blendet das schon fast. Läst sich die Leuchtkraft irgendwie anassen?
