Karten-Update Discover Media/Discover Pro - Infos von VW

Und weil es zum packen genutzt wurde. Winrar nutze ich nicht mehr. Hatte damals nen BSOD verursacht, weil es zu langsam war. Zwischen Klick der Aktion und der Ausführung war noch ausreichend Zeit um die Datei aus Versehen (Durch abschmieren auf der Enter-Taste) in einem anderen Programm zu öffnen, was Winrar Windows zu einem BSOD statt einer einfachen Fehlermeldung aufforderte. Im Endeffekt also Datenverlust durch ein kommerzielles Programm.

Der Entpacker von winrar ist übrigens standalone kostenlos zu bekommen.

Ich denke mal, das kommt daher, dass die Dateien im Format .7z komprimiert sind.

Für die Downloads verlinkt VW ja zur Seite von www.navigation.com. Und in deren Anleitung steht:

"2. Unter dem Betriebsystem Windows benötigen Sie ein Entpackprogramm, wie z. B. 7-Zip. Das Programm können Sie von der Website des Herstellers herunterladen. Wenn Sie ein anderes Betriebssystem nutzen, ist ein Programm zum Entpacken der Downloads erforderlich, welches das Dateiformat .7z unterstützt."

Ich denke weiterhin, dass der Hinweis auf die .7z-Unterstützung bei anderen Betriebssystemen ebenso für andere Entpacker unter Win gelten wird - weil es ja "z. B." heißt und nicht, dass es nur damit 100 %ig gehen wird ...

Richtig, Es ist völlig wurscht mit welchem Entpackprogramm entpackt wird, Hauptsache es wird alles entpackt.
Das Einzige was mir noch einleuchtet ist das Entpackziel direkt auf SD-Karte. Sehr wahrscheinlich wird die physische Anordnung der Daten auf der SD eine andere sein wenn man direkt drauf entpackt oder erst auf den PC entpackt und dann auf SD kopiert. Da es sich hier aber um einen Flash-Speicher handelt halte ich die Auswirkungen für sehr gering es sei denn, und den Eindruck habe ich langsam, das der eigentliche Flaschenhals die Treiber/Controlleranbindung des SD-Slots an sich ist.

I have one big problem and please if somebody can help me. A few month ago i have installed new navi version on my Discover Pro and that was 2014/2015 version. When i was installing this version i had some problems but at the end everything was ok. Now i have tryded to install 2015 version but without success. When i have inserted memory card with 2015 navi data on Discover Pro screen i have seen progress in percents but after that i only get message on screen that i must put memory card in with valid navigation data. On system menu i can see as Discover Pro is doing something (Updating softver please wait) but it is the same as i have memory card in or out. After that message i have left ignition on for four hours but situation was the same. I have tried to reebot the system but without success.Now i am without navigation.

In the past and now i have some problems with premium bluetooth connection. My phone (Note 4 and before Note 3 and S5) needs up to five minutes to get premium connection with Discover Pro and contacts are imported after a half!!! hour and then is icon for messages shown on screen.

In my GTD i have Dynaudio but when i start my car i only get VW welcome note and GTD logo shown but there is no logo Sound by Dynaudio. That is i think strange.

Do you think i really have bug in my Discover Pro unit? Can people on vw service solve this situation? Has maybe somebod an idea what to do?

Hab meine Daten gerade aktualisiert.

1. Heruntergeladene Datei mit 7zip auf Festplatte entpackt.
2. Alte Navidaten zur Sicherheit von SD auf Festplatte kopiert.
3. Schreibschutzschieber der SD auf unlock gestellt.
4. Daten auf der SD gelöscht, SD NICHT formatiert.
5. Entpackten Ordner und Datei auf SD kopiert.
6. Schreibschutzschieber wieder auf lock.
7. SD im Auto in Slot 2.
8. Zündung an, ca. 1 Minute und alles funktioniert.

En debut d'année j'ai effectue la mise a jour 2014/15 sans soucis
La j'ai voulut mettre la mise à jour 2015 et cette mise à jour c'est bloque à 95% avec le message "erreur de telechargement, veuillez inserer un support valide ......."
Depuis la navigation est bloquee en demandant d'inserer un support de donnee valide

Avait une solution pour ce probleme ?
je suis en version de firmware 060 ont m'a dit que ca pouvait venir de la

Hello!

I think you have 2 options:

1) Try to download new firmware (at least Version 0200 but better more fresh). This is not so easy and you might need to come to VW dealer for that operation. For the moment your Navi is "hanging" and there is no simple way to make a "warm" full re-boot.
2) If your car is on garantie period you can ask VW dealer to change Navi-unit for a new one. When I have a similar problem my dealer just replaced Discover Pro since it couldn't upgrade with new FW.

Clearly you have FW bug in your navi unit which can't be arranged in simple way.

I think you have 2 options:

Many thanks for your answer and new unit is on the way from Germany because VW service has found out that this one as i have now is not ok and new one it will be installed next week and then i hope everything it will be ok.😉

Da ist nichts geschönt, ist ja ein DM und es wird ja nichts auf eine interne Festplatte kopiert. Beim DP ist's etwas anderes.

Also bei mir wurden nachdem ersten einschalten mit der geupdateten Karte, mindestens 20 min die neuen Daten von DM überprüft und erst dann funktionierte die Navigation.

SD-Karte eingesteckt und losgefahren. Kurz drauf war die Karte mit allen Informationen auf dem Schirm.

ok. dann lag es wohl an meinem Navy oder der SD Karte.
