Selbst codieren leicht gemacht

Nachdem ich mir mein Ethernet2OBD Kabel letztes Jahr schon gebastelt hatte, bin ich nun auf eine sehr komplette Anleitung zum Codieren mit E-Sys gestossen, die einwandfrei ist. Interessant ist vor allem, was alles möglich ist (u.a. Start-Stop deaktivieren, Blinker im HUD, M-Hud, DVD-Speedlimit aufheben, SideView Speedlimit aufheben, ...). Bin gerade am Installieren... mal schauen, wann ich Zeit habe, alles auszuprobieren.

P.S.: Ob jemand sich jetzt E-Sys per Raupkopie oder auf legalem Weg beschafft, sei jedem selbst überlassen, darüber will ich hier auch keine Diskussion lostreten. Ich möchte den Link einzig und allein wegen der Anleitungen hier reinsetzen.

I was out of luck the 6WB unit i wanted to buy was already sold ( it was supposed to be a brand new unit but for 850 euro i dont believe that ) so i have been looking for another 6WB unit with Hud (my F10 has HUD ) i found another one for 1000 euro ( used one ) and that guy wants to sell the unit only if he can code it ( he is scared someone will mess it up and afterwards he has to give warranty ) so i asked him if he can code the 6WB correctly with my 6WA unit so i can swap them if i have to go to the dealer if something brakes in the car , and he looked at me like i was an idiot and said you can never have 2 different clusters like 6WB and 6WA coded at the same time so you just have to swap units without having to coded.
I told him that he is a shitty coder because i knew it was possible , he kept telling me this is impossible.
So is it possible that you made a mistake Oliver ?

Hello!

You're right, he has no experience with this. You can code the 6WB (the CAFD is stored inside the cluster) and swap it with the origin 6WA (which is of course coded for your car).

If you set everything correctly in the 6WB then it's not necessary to code anything in the Head-Unit. Now you can swap the clusters like you want.

I never store a rigged VO inside the VCM, so the rest of the car is on the same state like before the swap.

The seller is located in Germany?

Kennst Du noch den Eintrag für das Verhalten vom Abbiegelicht beim Rückwärtsfahren? 530d 05/12 F10
Die Suche spuckt 303 Einträge für Abbiegelicht aus.

Und gibt es einen Eintrag, um die Leuchtdauer einzustellen vom Blinkersetzen bis zum Lenkradeinschlag? Die möchte ich verlängern wenns geht.

No the seller is located in the Netherlands i am looking now if i cand find someone who i can trust who sells a 6WB that still looks decent enough, because on E-bay you see units that are scratch and they still want 1000 euro for it.
He could not understand that you where able to code the 2 clusters at the same time.

Oliver what is the normal price for a decent 6WB

A price between 850€ and 1.000€ is okay. Take care to buy a 6WB with a HW less then 057. From HW057 and higher BMW installed a 35160WT Eeprom which is harder to delete and this work would cost more then an older 6WB with a 35160DOWQ Eeprom.

The HW is marked on the sticker on the back side.

Hello!

Due to the reason that you will not know what could happen with your car and whether your car has to get an update in the future or not, don't sell the 6WA to be on the safe side.

I've here 3 6WB with HUD. Two are broken (eeprom damaged) and I've to repair it. After it they will work like a charm. 🙂

Thank you Oliver , i already found one here in Belgium and he is asking 850 euro but he absolutely wants to code the unit. So i can see the unit works , so after he codes the car are you stil able to code the car so i can use both units the 6WA and 6WB ? I told him i have someone who wil code the car but he insist that he want his customers to leave with a working 6WB and he is the one who has to give me warranty afterwards if something goes wrong.
So i dont think i cant change his minde about this , so it would be great if you still could code it the way you want.

Bei meinem F11 von 2015 sind die Scheiben foliert.
Besteht die Möglichkeit die Empfindlichkeit des automatischen Abblendens der Spiegel anzupassen?
