Guten Morgen,

 

eben poppte im Fahrzeugdisplay die genannte Serviceaktion auf. Die App spricht von einer "softwarebasierten Schutzfunktion" der Sauganlage zum Schutz vor Verschmorung. Klingt erneut nach dem altbekannten AGR- Problem.

 

War schon jemand dort oder weiß, was dieses Update im Detail enthält?

Or they havent done the update at all like my german BMW dealer even if they said they did ;)

I will get my car back the second time by tomorrow and will check if i am also affected.

Check your I- Level with ISTA+. I'm quite sure they updated that as well and not only the DDE. Both updates only take about an hour.

But interesting you don't have this behavior with the gearbox.

I will, likely tomorrow and report back.

I was translating the discussion with google translate so i may have misunderstood. Can someone please confirm, the issue occurred if you switch to "Sport" from the console button, not from the gear stick?

Possible, but everything was reset on my car. Language of the iDrive, radiostations, seat position etc. I also have a dashcam which surely recorded the procedure. I'll check the recording out too.

Within BMW facilities any camera any dash cams will be covered up ;o) I have seen that and been told.

 

When driving in both modes (D or S), and turning on the cruise control, start from 30 km/h stepping up in 10km/h stepps.

 

Meanwhile my gearbox is shifting gears at around 3000- 3500 rotation in both modes. I think that is quite high.

Okay, my I-level is : F020-22-03-552 which I believe means the update has been loaded. I did four test scenarios:

1. Centre console selected "comfort", gear lever in position D

2. Centre console selected "sport", gear lever in position D

3. Centre console selected "sport", gear lever in position S/M

4. Centre console selected "comfort", gear lever in position S/M

In all four cases i was getting very adequate gear changes when accelerating via the cruise control option. In S-mode i got 2 gear switches from S3 to S4 and then to S5. I couldn't go any higher speeds as i was in city conditions, but it proves the point.

PS. My dashcam is hidden, nobody ever sees it, i've been spying on BMW and what they do to my car a few times ;)

Maybe after the reset all adaptions values of the gear box has been reset.

Am from Sofia, Bulgaria. Gearbox seems totally as before, shifts under 2krpm in normal mode and around 2.5-2.8k in sport.

And again, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hijack the thread and I'm sure not everyone appreciates me writing in English, i just wanted to share with you my experience so you know it's not all black & white out there with this issue. Have a good one guys.

Also bei mir waren die Codierungen im Headunit weg. Hatte nämlich die Reifentempteratur aktiv. Favoriten-Tasten war ebenfalls leer.

Vll. wird der Fehler im Tempomat durch die Ausstattungsvarianz verursacht. Oder evt. verschiedene Getriebeversionen. Ich Hab z.B. xDrive.

Mein X3 schaltet mit seit dem Update z.B. erst im Drehzahlbegrenzer bei ca. 4.300 U/min. In ALLEN verfügbaren Fahrmodi, und dann auch nur um einen Gang. Mir ist aber aufgefallen. Wenn man nun mit Tempomat z.B. 90 km/h mit 3.800 U/min fährt und dann ganz leicht aufs Gaspedal tritt. Wird sofort geschaltet...

Für mein Verständnis: Nach dem Update der Serviceaktion dreht die Automatik die Gänge deutlich höher? Zu lesen hier „bis in den Himmel“ oder über „3.000 rpm“? Ich hab nicht den ganzen Thread im Detail verfolgt, entschuldigt meine Rückfrage.

So, ich hab mein Fahrzeug zurück. Der Händler hat beim ersten mal das Update tatschlich nicht gemacht und mir gesagt es wäre erledigt. Eine Reparatur die zeitgleich durchgeführt wurde war auch sehr schlecht gemacht, die Werkstatt hat Teile angeklebt nachdem ihnen Clips abgebrochen sind. WTF. Und das ist eine Vertragsniederlassung... Der Berater war top, aber das hilft auch nichts wenn Azubis die vermutlich Landmaschinenmechaniker lernen Hand an mein Auto legen.

Nun gut, I-Level bei mir jetzt F010-22-03-560 und DDE O_7HKM0-0000287A-008.

Es waren nicht alle Codierungen weg. Start Stop Memory war noch da, genau so die Mautfunktion der Fensterheber.

Die Headunit z.B. war aber komplett zurückgesetzt.

 

Und damit habe ich jetzt auch das Tempomat-Verhalten bekommen. Kotz...

Tempomat auf 90 und bei 30km/h auf RES -> Es wird auf 90 beschleunigt, die Drehzahl ist bei ca. 3000.

Wenn ich mit dem Tempomat auf 100 gehe, dann wird bei ca. 3500 geschalten, aber nur einen Gang.

Bzw. wird in D immer um 3500 geschalten, auf 4000 konnte ich nie kommen.

Wenn ich auf 130km/h gehe schaltet er nochmal und bleibt dann bei ca. 3200 Umdrehungen im 6. Gang bis ich das Gas antippe.

 

Ich hoffe wirklich, dass sich BMW NICHT bis zum Herbst Zeit lässt um das zu beheben.
