Spiegel anklappen beim Abschließen möglich?

Hallo,

ich bekomme im laufe der nächsten Woche meinen Golf VI TSI. Da dieser über elektrisch anklappbare Außenspiegel verfügt wollte ich Fragen ob diese auch anklappen wenn ich das Auto abschließe?? Hat dies schon jemand gemacht??

I'm looking to this 'Folding Mirrors From Remote Key FOB' on my RHD Tiguan in the UK and wanted to confirm/ask a few things with before I get stuck in.

My door modules are original VW Gen 3 modules, here's a recent scan:

Based on the fact that these are not aftermarket Chinese modules, I'd really appreciate it if the experienced among you can help answer my questions/confirm my statements below before I attempt this mod:

 

1. If you have Gen 4 (Hexadecimal) door modules you can code this mod using VCDS or VPC software?

2. If you have Gen 3 door modules, VCDS won't work - you have to use something like VCP or ODIS software to access and alter the EEPROM?

3. I've read on mytiguan.com some issues about this mod not working as expected on RHD cars - but unsure if this was with Gen 3 or Gen 4 modules. If it was Gen 3, is there a work around to solve this?

4. I will be following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9x7IuEaHJQ&feature=emb_logo but do I need to change anything for a right hand drive car or is the coding the same?

5. Will I lose the ability to fold the mirrors from the internal drivers side toggle switch?

I have both VCDS and VCP (VAG CAN PRO V5.5.1) software running on Windows XP via Parallels on a MacBook Pro.

Would love to hear from someone who's successfully completed this mod on Gen 3, RHD car or knows the answers to my questions.

Don't use the VCP clone since it may brick your control modules.

It appears as though Chinese copies or clones of VCP are unable to access 'engineering mode' using the 04354 code, meaning you can't access and alter the EEPROM anyway!

I've searched dozens of other forums (golf, scirocco, audi tt etc) for a work around or another code and many people report the same issue. I've tried clearing all codes and ensuring my mirror dial dial was on 'L' or 'R' - it makes no difference.

Have to concede defeat on this or buy/borrow an original version of the software and cable.

ich habe einen 2020er Highline Caddy und hätte wahnsinnig gerne die Spiegel per Schlüssel angeklappt.

Gibts es jemanden im Raum München der das zuverlässig programmieren kann?

Hallo, das kann man mit VCDS codieren. Der Spiegel klappt ein, wen das Fahrzeug verriegelt und du länger auf der

Verriegelungs Taste bleibst. Und Ausklappen tut er, wenn du die Tür öffnest.

Korrekt. Der normale hat immer nur GEN3 Steuergeräte bekommen.

bei meinem Golf 6 (2009) habe ich das anklappen der Spiegel über FBB mit ODIS-E gemacht, über STG42 EEPROM Zellen lesen --> HEX Zeile xx anpassen --> Zellen schreiben. (ST42 Teilenr. 5K0959701E)

Ist bei einem Golf 6 Plus (2013er) das Anklappen der Spiegel über FBB móglich mit VCDS zu codieren?
