Probleme Klima?
Tolles Auto der neue 5er - aber ich habe ein "Problem"... ich habe manchmal das Gefühl, dass die Klimaautomatik schlechter arbeitet, als in meinem vorherigem 4er. Nun ist mir heute folgendes aufgefallen: Draußen 26 Grad, Automatik steht auf 21 Grad - auf einmal wird es warm im Auto. Aus den Lüftungsdüsen kommt recht kalte Luft... merke aber dann, dass aus den Düsen im Fußraum sehr warme Luft kommt...
.... macht ja irgendwie keinen Sinn? Jemand ne Idee was das sein könnte? Mein freundlicher ist bei solchen Fehlerbeschreibungen sagen wir mal.... alles andere als gut. Auto nen Tag weg, nix gefunden, Problem besteht weiterhin - ich kenne das 🙂

Indeed, looks like the original one. At a first glance I wouldn't be able to recognize it as an extra layered windshield.
Scheint gut, aber was oder warum ist das in Deutschland illegal ?
Bei Änderungen an den Scheiben von Fahrzeugen muss besonders Paragraph 40 Absatz 1 der Straßenverkehrszulassungsordnung (StVZO) Beachtung finden:
„Sämtliche Scheiben […] müssen aus Sicherheitsglas bestehen. Als Sicherheitsglas gilt Glas oder ein glasähnlicher Stoff, deren Bruchstücke keine ernstlichen Verletzungen verursachen können. Scheiben aus Sicherheitsglas, die für die Sicht des Fahrzeugführers von Bedeutung sind, müssen klar, lichtdurchlässig und verzerrungsfrei sein.“
Ich denke alle drei Anforderung sind respektiert.
Auch wenn ein mal in Jahr zu Diskussion gäbe:
Ist das Sichtfeld des Fahrers durch Umbauten und Veränderungen zu stark eingeschränkt, kann im Falle einer polizeilichen Kontrolle ein Verwarngeld in Höhe von 10 Euro drohen.
Könnte ich das Risiko eingehen, für Autowaschen gebe ich viel mehr...

Ich denke mehr als 60.000Euro und weniger als 100.000Euro
@Driver_Jo I think @frncsc was talking about tinting. I paid around 450 Eur for applying film on all windows (in Romania). I also asked for a price offer a reputable shop in Hungary and I got the same quotation.
I never applied film on my cars before, I usually don't like them. But I found no other solution for the G30, unfortunately. Disappointed by BMW.

Do you see any difference in the night?
Through the backmirrors internal or external, selfblending?
I was concerned about this, but I see no issues. The head-up is not so crips as before, but only if you focus on it you can see it looks a bit pixelated. No issues with external mirrors, but if I don't use the "dimmed for night driving" option of the interior lighting, it has a really powerful reflexion compared to how it used to be. Not a problem with the lights dimmed.
I noticed an improvement at night driving when it comes to the right-side mirror. I believe it doesn't have auto-dim like the left one.
I recently drove 1000KM through Austria, day and night and it was perfect. Also, the film is applied on the interior, so the camera and sensors are not covered.
Is there any special handling in cleaning the windows after applicated? Can you still use standard cleaners like Windex?
Nothing special, standard window cleaning solutions are fine.
