Kombiinstrument Update?
Kann ich bei meinen a5 bj 12.08 problemlos ein svm update auf das Kombiinstrument machen lassen? Was ändert sich dann außer das man die öl temp. freischalten kann? Sind dann alle codierungen weg? Werden auch Daten vom Motorsteuergerät ausgelesen? Kennt einer den aktuellen svm code?

Also du kannst das Update machen es wird funktionieren!
Die öltemp und Effizienzanzeige kommt dazu weiter ist mir nichts bekannt.
SVM Code ist: B817A003
Einfach diesen SVM installieren und fertig ;-) Dauert glaube so ca. 20 min.
Deine Codierungen sind nanach nur aus dem Tacho weg außer du lässt den komplett durchlaufen mit soll ist abgleich dann is alles weg wenn du was codiert haben solltest.

Tested. Fog lights appear in the efficiency program. So both front and rear appear on Instrument cluster efficiency program. I have old firmware: 09 Cent Elect J519 8k0907063C firmware 0253.
I do not have heated seats so I cannot test. Probably the fix is something else????
Checking Erwin (using VIN number: ELSA database service and repair info) I found some firmware updates TPI/SVM like Radio, oil consumption/ECM , s-tronic,. However I found nothing on 17 instrument cluster, 09 electronics, 05 authorization start.
Where can I find the information for the missing TPIs???????

I do not have the vas5054a. I only have the 13.8 volt 20a regulator / charger. I am trying to find a reason to buy it.
What are the firmware updates that I need?? E.g. one is the 0258 firmware for instrument cluster, which you said it is similar to 0253. The 09 I don't think I need. The 05 authorization start I have firmwares up to 0710 which may not be applicable, and convenience firmware fixes problems with power tailgate and maybe something else????
Instead of fixing I may cause problems????

höchste Software für das 46er / 05er im vFL ist die 0437 (Steuergerät muss Index Cx haben!)
verstehe nicht wo sein problem ist oder was er will .... aber egal
hier gehts um KI update und nicht 1000 andere updates

this SVM FAILED on my 2009 B8 (Q5) at my Audi dealer. The update went up to 50%. (Current firmware 0253)

Usually update does not start when it is not compatible. Is it not compatible or something went wrong with the update?

FAILED TO UPDATE Q5 2009 Instrument cluster from 0253 to 0258 using SVM: 17A001 for the second time.
The online database did not allow the firmware update (this SVM is not intended for your model). Maybe there is a different SVM??
So latest for my Q5 is SVM B817A003 and firmware 0253 (at least this was accepted).
nicht jeder SVM Code kann für jedes Fahrzeug genutzt werden, abhängig von Modeljahr, Ausstattung und "Laune" der dafür Verantwortlichen...
