Harman Kardon Logic 7
Hallo
habe aus meiner E-Klasse T-Modell 320 CDI die Original Lautsprecher gegen Harman Kardon Logik 7 ausgetauscht.
Auch das AGW habe ich gegen das Harman getauscht.
Jetzt fehlt mir noch der Subwoofer leider weiß ich nicht wo dieser angeschlossen wird da ich am AGW kein Steckplatz mehr freihabe.
Muß dieser irgendo mit angeschlossen werden oder mitbelegt werden?
Gibt es einen Schaltplan für das Harman Kardon Soundsystem?
Wäre Euch für Eure Hilfe sehr dankbar

Hallo zusammen
Ich habe schon mehrfach betont, dass diese Initiative Weichen zur Verbesserung der Soundsysteme in Mercedes Fahrzeugen rein privat motiviert ist. Ich habe kein Gewerbe, und auch kein Interesse mein geistiges Eigentum durch teure Patente schützen zu lassen.
Für mich ist es ein Hobby. Meine Zeit, die ich investiere, und mein geistiges Know-How. Ich lasse alle daran soweit möglich schon jetzt sehr umfangreich teilhaben. Ich finde mehr kann man nicht verlangen! Ich helfe wo ich kann!
Mir geht es nicht um Profit, sondern um die vielen interessanten Kontakte und Gespräche rings um dieses Thema, vor allem auch die ausserhalb dieses Forums. Hier sieht man ja nur die Spitze des eisbergs. Aus anfänglichen reinen Anfragen haben sich mit zahlreichen "Interessenten" dieses Themas echte Freundschaften und "Seelenverwandschaften" gefunden.
Dabei ist es nicht wichtig, ob man durch einen Kumpel irgendwelche Weichenteile günstiger bekommt! Mir ist die Ausübung meines Hobbys sehr wichtig, und brauche diese Ablenkung, da ich schwer krank bin. Das wollte ich eigentlcih öffentlcih nie publizieren, aber in diesem zusammenhang denke ich ist es angebracht.
Daher bitte ich um Verständnis, dass ich solange ich dieses Hobby noch ausführen kann, ich keine Schaltpläne ins Netz stellen werde. Wenn es dann irgendwann nicht mehr geht, dann werde ich das alles veröffentlichen. bis dahin lass mir meinen Spass,......
.....auch wenn es für dich schwer ist dies zu akzeptieren.

Moin, bin vor 7 Jahren auch extra aus Rostock angereist...
...jeder Kilometer war es wert, Alles funktioniert auch heute noch einwandfrei und jede Art von Musik profitiert von den verwendeten Teilen

I just finded this forum. Sorry for English, but i am not good in german language and for all i have to use google translator. I am from Czech Republic.
I want to improove sound in my W211 with Infinity Kappa speakers. It has 2Ohm impedance. Foto in attachment.
I have Comand APS NTG1 head unit with stock 2118270962 AGW and it´s not so powerful then i expect and i foud it can has a problem with overheating with 2Ohms speaker.
I decidet to buy HK AGW. Question is that i have to order specific one, or any HK AGW? I want to be shure if it fits my car... I also have HK SW to trunk. Is ito possibility to use HK AGW with only door speakers and subwoofer? Without center and rear speakers...
Will be anyone helpful to help me with? Many thanks i will appreciate any help.

For NTG 1 you can use most of the HK-AGW´s which are offered. you must look for German/european Frequenzy Management for the UKW tuner, you must look for TWIN-tuner, and if in the top of the HK-AGW there is a exhauster, than you have one of the newer types of the Hk-AGW.
Yes, you can only use the front/Sub channels, if you want,.....but why?
The normal AGW is not buildt für 2Ohm use! There is no heatsink at the AGW, and the Amp.-Chip is only fixed by a bracket at the walls of the AGW.

I wrote a bad description of rear speakers. of course I mean all 4 doors speakers with subwoofer, only without suround speakers which are located on the top of trunk and front center speaker. I will try to find some Europe version of HK AGW...

If you connect all seven channels of the HK-AKW in the "Logic-7 Modus", and you have good recorded life Songs, it sounds really good. The both rear Speaker Systems in the rear doors are switched into a surround modus, like you know it from your Home Cinema System, so it is the same with the two rearfills and the Centerspeaker.
For life recordings it is a very good solution.
If you Switch from Logic-7 to "normal" use, the back door Speakers work normally as full function Speakers with full bass power. ......so there is no reason that you use only the front Speakers!
My tip for you: Connect the Sub on a seperate Supamp. At the HK-AGW there is no way to Change any Kind of Options. With a seperate amp you can optimize the sound in any way you want..

So last question is, if is subwoofer active with "normal" option or not. If not, there is another option- to make all four preouts from stock AGW and connect another 4 way amplifier which can operate With 2Ohm speakers...
I am not supporter to listen the music at home cinema setup good stereo is enough, but i know in car is a different situation...

The Sub is allways enabled! No matter if Logic-7 or "normal" is selected. The Standard AGW can be connected to all amps with highlevel Inputs. All modern amps are able to work with 2 Ohm Chassis. Best buy would be an DSP with built in 6 or 8 channel amps.,....like Helix P-Six, or Match PP 82DSP.

ich müsste von meinem Harman Kardon im w204 Strom, Masse und WakeUp abgreifen (für ein DAB+ Steuergerät). Weiß vllt jemand, an welche Kabel ich da muss?

Belegung am HK-Amp:
Pin 1= Plus (rot-Blau)
Pin 2= minus (braun)
Pin 27= Wakeup "CAN-BUS" aber Vorsicht, der ist nicht als "Remote" o.ä. zu gebrauchen! nur für Canbus erkennende Geräte. Ansonsten über einen Signalerkenner wie Ampire 550000 aus dem Lautsprechersignal einen "belastbaren" Remote generieren.

Weißt du evtl noch, welche Farbe das WakeUp hat? Das müsste das richtige Signal sein, weil es auch ein Original DAB Steuergerät ist.
Und wegen Plus: gelb/rot wäre dann falsch, oder? Die Farbe hat das Stromkabel zum Antennenverstärker.

Dann sollte Pin 27 passen. Das Kabel ist "blau-schwarz" und hat nur 0,5qmm Querschnitt. Plus (rot-blau) hat 2,5qmm und Masse (braun) auch.

Der PP52 hat, wenn ich es richtig verstehe, 4 Kanäle plus 1 Subwoofer Kanal.
Im S211 mit Standard-AGW und Command gibt es je eine Lautsprecher-Einheit (TMT+HT) in jeder Tür also 4 und es gibt noch den Center-Speaker.
Wie wird der PP52 angeschlossen bzw. wie wird der Center davon versorgt?
Gehen aus dem AGW nur 4 Kanäle raus und der Center-Kanal wird später generiert?
Oder brauche ich dafür ein PP82?
