Does anyone of you know how latte machiato in Golf VARIANT Comfortline looks like in real life?
There are 2 very different versions on the VW site:
1 - bright, which I really like:

2 - dark, which actually looks like very dark brown which is IMHO awful:

i think the 2nd one is the correct. The 1st image looks very grey! Please visit your local dealer, maybe he have a example of booth versions!
I have already visited few dealers, but unfortunately here in Poland Golf Variant is very unpopular

You can compare the different colours in other models as well, e.g. in the normal golf.
The first picture of your first post shows in my opinion corn silk beige and the second one shows latte macchiato. I hope this helps, but maybe someone can post real photos.

Latte macchiato in the Golf Hatchback looks more like the first image - I saw it in real world and I like it. Is is a little bit darker, but not so brown like on the second picture.
My concern is that Latte macchiato looks different in Golf Variant compared to Hatchback.

The funny thing is that I was writing to VW, and they didn't know which version is closer to reality...
Is there anyone who own Golf Variant Comfortline with Latte macchiato? It would be very nice to hear an owner opinion.

I do own a Golf Plus from Oct. 2010 with Latte Machiato- outfit
Your first picture corresponds to the actual colour. I too was fooled by the second picture from the VW-Konfigurator, which is by far to dark.
You can be assured, it is a very homely outfit compared with standard black.

Ein anderes Bild war zu hell, dass andere zu dunkel. Das dunkle Foto stammt aus dem Konfigurator. Wir haben Latte mach. auch bestellt, ohne es vorher in einem Golf Variant im Original gesehen zu haben und waren dann beruhigt und begeistert, als wir es in unserem Auto im Original gesehen haben. Da wir zuvor einen Passat in dieser Farbe hatten, hatten wir aber eine ungefähre Vorstellung.
Uns persönlich gefällt diese Farbe sehr gut, auch bei unserem weißen Golf Variant.

I own a Variant (Silver Leaf) with Latte Macchiato. And your first picture is exactly the same colour in our car.

It is a pity that the latte machiato isn't present in the Highline version. Corn Silk Beige is very very nice, but it seems extremely impractical because it is just too bright.
So I will be forced to choose a lower version (Comfortline) and upgrade it to the level of the Highline, which in total will be more expensive.

The colour in our Variant looks nearly like this (the link).

Wir haben Latte mach. auch bestellt, ohne es vorher in einem Golf Variant im Original gesehen zu haben und waren dann beruhigt und begeistert, als wir es in unserem Auto im Original gesehen haben. Da wir zuvor einen Passat in dieser Farbe hatten, hatten wir aber eine ungefähre Vorstellung.
Summary: They ordered Latte M. without seeing it before in original. They were happy, when they saw it in their new car. They owned it in their Passat before.
Uns persönlich gefällt diese Farbe sehr gut, auch bei unserem weißen Golf Variant.
They like the colour in their white Variant.
