Hat jemand Interesse an einem 99er Park Avenue ?
Führe mich nicht in Versuchung, ich hab schon zwei Autos (+ das von meiner Frau). :P
Ich besitze noch einen 96er Park Avenue
Der 99er ist noch was komplett anderes GTS Fahrwerk + Vollausstattung ohne Schiebedach
Überleg‘s dir einfach mal 🙂
Hat einer ne Idee, wo ich einen Motorträger / Achskörper her bekomme? Meiner ist durch -.-

Kann mir eig jemand sagen für was es die unteren weißen ‚fenster‘ gibt? Die oberen zwei leuchten ja wenn man rückwärts fährt aber für was sind die unteren zwei hab noch nie gesehen dass die leuchten

Die sind offenbar nur Deko. Wenn man von innen schaut sind da jedenfalls keine Fassungen für irgendwelche Leuchtmittel zu finden:

Ich hätte da mal eine etwas andere Frage, sind die Außenspiegel eines PA eigentlich beheizt? Wollte ich schon lange mal Fragen weil letzten Winter (ja ich weiß, lange her) hat es arg gedauert bis diese abgetaut sind.

Ich glaube, beheizte Spiegel gabs erst mit dem neuen Modell. Bei Rockauto sind zumindest alle ohne Heizung.

First I have to say if it's against the forum rules to write in English or if other members don't like it just tell me and i will go back to broken German 🙂
I also write in some US forums but since my car is the 91 European version I wanted to write here too. The Buick is sitting for a while now as i collect parts and make small repairs. Also since someone messed with the car before (drilled roof for aftermarket antenna, rewired lights...) I will try to restore it a bit.
Question: I did not get a remote with the car, I don't know if it was lost before or did it come from the factory without it. I emailed a GM parts site with my chassis number and they sent me my RPO code list so i know i have AU0 - LOCK CONTROL,REMOTE ENTRY(KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM) but on parts websites the remote is not listed for a 1991, only 1992+. Confusing. So the question is, does anyone know if a 91 euro Park Avenue comes with a remote from the factory? Many remotes on Ebay but i don't know if it will fit.
Also, how hard is it to find euro-specific parts (mirrors, lights..) in Germany? My passenger mirror was replaced with a fixed US mirror. I would like to find the original one, but it's hard to find in Croatia. Do you know of any junkyards that I could ask?
I added pics of the remote and mirror i ask about.
It should be ok if you write in English, most US-Car drivers should be familiar with that language 😉
Regarding your questions: My 1992 Caprice is an model for Germany and it also has no remote control, even though it has been standard on the "Classic" trim level. It is possible that the Park Avenue is also affected by that.
The mirror should not be the biggest problem, even though they are rare, they have been used on the most european GM Models of the early 90s 😉 Corvette, Caprice, Firebird, Park Avenue and a few others all had these mirrors. The biggest problem should be to find one in the same colour. Just look out on eBay if anyone offers them. Here is someone who offers the driver side mirror. Maybe you can find the one for the passenger side somewhere.

I already stored a passenger side window in black for my Caprice, just in case it gets broken sometime 🙂

The picture of remote you posted is the right one.
They are cheap on ebay but it will take some time as most sellers are located in USA.
The programming of that remote is simply easy you only need a wire to bridge the interface (procedure is mentioned serveral times in this thread 🙂 ).
Hope you can fix that, the remote control is more relaxing than using this dinky keys 😁
Some of the european PAs don't have the necessary module for a remote control in the PCM! Remote controls are not that expensive so maybe you can just buy one and try if your Buick accepts it.
