320d B47: Tuning / Stage 1 Tuning

Habe einen 2017 F30 320d 190PS und möchte gerne wissen ob es wirklich nicht schädlich ist, ein z.B. Stage 1 tuning machen zu lassen. Eine Vertrauenswirkende Gruppe/Werkstatt bietet für mein Auto nähmlich ein Stage 1 (von 190PS auf 240PS) an mit gründlichem Programmieren. Für unter 400€ sogar. Ist sowas realistisch und auch nicht zwingend gefährlich ?

evtl macht es einen Unterschied ob halt die 8hp sich neu kalibrieren muss oder handgeschalten wird.

We have reviewed the technical drawings and product specifications, and I can confirm the following:

Mounting and Connections: Both intercoolers share the same overall length and height (496 × 133 mm), and based on the available data, the mounting points and inlet/outlet connections (diameter, position, and angle) appear to be identical. 

Inlet/Outlet Diameter: Ø61 mm ±0.3

Center-to-Center Distance (Inlet to Outlet): 603 mm

Inlet/Outlet Angle: 41°

Mounting Brackets – Center-to-Center Distance: 355 mm ±1

Internal Flow Characteristics: There is no indication that the internal cross-section or airflow path has been altered. The increased performance is primarily due to the deeper core, which adds more external cooling surface and internal air volume.

Effect on Turbo Response: While the increased core volume may slightly affect airflow characteristics, any potential impact on turbo response or lag is expected to be minimal. 

In conclusion, while NRF 30482 remains the officially listed intercooler for your engine variant, NRF 30955 may indeed be a suitable alternative for those seeking improved cooling, provided there is sufficient space in the vehicle to accommodate the deeper core.
