Umrüstung Motorola Festeinbau auf Bluetooth Handyvorbereitung

Hallo !

Ich habe in meinem Dicken (A8 4E, Bj. 10/2003) den Motorola Festeinbau als Auto-Telefon. Ich habe die letzten Monate verschiedenste Varianten von Freisprecheinrichtungen getestet.

1. Dual-Sim-Karte im Motorola-Telefon (Nachteil: man muß immer das Handy abschalten, damit sich das Motoroal Festeinbautelefon ins Netz einwählen kann und es ist sehr lästig, immer die neunen Kontakte auf die SIM-Karte zu kopieren)

2. BTA1500 von Dension als Erweiterung zum verbauten Dension Gateway 500 (Vorteil: funktioniert, jedoch seperates Mikrophon notwendig: Nachteil: Gateway 500 ist Voraussetzung, d.h. teuer und Lautstärke extrem hoch im Vergleich zum Radio.)

3. Umrüstung von Motorola Festeinbau zu Bluetooth Handyvorbereitung:
Dies habe ich heute durchgeführt. Ging ohne grössere Probleme und war in 2 Stunden erledigt.
Vorteil: original Audi Freisprechanlage mit voller Bedienung über MMI. Sprachqualität ist 1A und
eingebautes Mikrophon kann benutzt werden. Jederzeitige Rückrüstung auf Festeinbau möglich.
Getestet wurde mit Blackberry 8310 und Apple I-Phone. Alles funzt perfekt !!

Erforderliches Material/Geräte:
- gebrauchtes Bluetooth Steuergerät (bei ebay um 50€)
- leerer Stecker zum Anschluß an neues Steuergerät (5€); alter Stecker passt nicht an neues Steuergerät
- Bluetooth-Flach-Antenne original (25€ bei Audi)

Es ist nicht erforderlich, einen neuen Kabelstrang für die Handyvorbereitung zu kaufen. Es müssen nur vom alten Stecker 6 Kabel (Pins) ausgepinnt und in den neuen Stecker eingepinnt werden (sehr einfach, ein Nagel genügt zum auspinnen, in 1 Minute erledigt). Dann den neuen Stecker aufs neue Steuergerät, LWL anstecken, Bluetooth-Antenne anstecken, Steuergerät codieren. fertig.

Ich habe dann noch auf die neueste Software (1100) upgedatet.

Arbeitsaufwand: ca. 2,5 Stunden (inkl. Codieren)
Finanzieller Aufwand: ca. 80€

Das MMI ist auf dem 5150 also musste auf 5570 noch gehen. Endet mit dem Fehler??
CD2 liest Metadaten aber dann kann ich das Telefon für Update nicht anwählen.

check das mal mit batterie abklemmen und versuch dann alles nochmal

Hello colleagues,
First I want to apologize about I write on English, but my German is very weak. I read all coments and I made the exchange from fixed telephone Motorola to BT hadsfree. So I take the module with part nummber 4F1 910 336B (with SAP) and I made all the wire exactly it was described. The BT module is running now but I have a problem with the coding. I made this coding (please if I made something wrong just let me know):
1. 07 Control Head -> Adaptation 10 -> Channel 12 -> new value 2 -> Save
2. 19 CAN Gateway -> Installation List -> CHEK 77Telephone and UNCHEK Telematics -> Save
3. 77 Telephone -> Coding 07 -> New coding 0050001 -> Save
4. 77 Telephone -> Adaptation 10 -> Channel 133 -> New Value 1 -> Save
5. From Hidden Green Menu -> Hi Codirung -> APK 0x01, 0x0B ... -> Telephone make -> UHV/BTA -> Accept changes
After all this coding the module is running fine and I pair my iPhone 5 and can use all functions. The problem is when I take out the ignition key and after 5-10 minutes all coding from BT module 77 is gone. When I start the engine and press TEL button on the screen is write "Your Telephone is switched off" and I can't turned on. And the soft codding for 77 Telephone is back to 0000000 ? After that I notice that all field in coding window was fill with nulls (attached pics). I was with MMI soft 2120 and yesterday I update to 5150 (CD1 from 5570) but the MMI don't recognize the BT module. In Hidden RED menu (doesn't have name) only write 0x0103 (attached pics)? And the update don't run on the BT module, just update the another modules but not the BT. After that I tried to update with CD2 (update only for BT module) but again no update for this module. When I try to update to 5570 again no update for BT module. Now I am still on version 5150 and I don't know where is the problem. I attach pictures from VCD sreens and MMI screen that can make it clear the situation. Please can someone help me with this. How I can make codding to be permanent? May I fill all field in 77 Telephone -> Coding 07 -> Soft coding, WorkShop Code, Importer number, Equipment number?

I want to notice that when I go to Hidden Green menu -> TELEPHONE -> FBLOCKS -> on the screen is write "Telephone not yet unlocked!" is there CP for this module? If I check the box "BTA debug FBlock"?

After reading about your issue I think your BT Module is maybe defective. Especially the fact, that you can see it in your update menu but it cant be updated seems little strange to me. Do you have the possibility to try another one?

I have the same issue on my BT-module. In my case the BT- Module is broken from an older update, the former owner of the car tried.
There is a chance an update will damage the BT-Module and it will not work properly anymore. Settings are not kept and on each power-on the Phone has to be reconnected.

Since my phone does not support SAP (phonebook used from the phone), I live with the issue.

In Germany used BT-Modules are more expensive than new ones from Audi, if this is the same in your country, you could try a brand new one. Updates on this should be done by Audi, since they could become broken easily while being updated.

Thank you about your help. I am wondering it is possible to update manual the module with CD2 from update package 5570? Or it is possible to re-flash the module with another software (VAS or another)?

I am thinking about to insert coding numbers in another fields for WorkShop Code, Importer number, Equipment number in coding module window? But I don't know what value should be inserted? On my mind is if the MMI recognize the module in the red hidden menu (because now is only address 0x103) to start soft update? Because now the MMI don't recognize the module? It is way to fix it this?

I have never tried to update the module in any other way besides the CD2 of the 5570-update. In my case, the update does not work (it takes ages and there is no progress until an error message shows up).

Since I don´t need the BT, I did not try to fix this on my car.

The workshop code and importer number should be any value in the allowed range. This is only a reference to the shop which changed the coding. I´m not sure about the equipment number.

The BT only shows up as 0x103? This seems strange to me. Is the BT module correctly enabled in the gateway module?
I don´t know the english wording, but with VCDS you are able to check the optical bus for problems. If one of the devices is not acting as expected or one connector came loose, you might be able to see it there. I´m not sure if the A6 has an optical bus, so this option might not be available.

Where did you find the coding for the A6?

What is the message of VCDS after saving a coding? Does is say, the coding was valid/accepted?

Yes my Audi A6 has an optical but, and tomorrow I will run the test and post the result. I find WSC for my bluetooth module and inserted and the module accepted but the resul was the same. When I turn off the ignition key or restart the MMI all coding and WSC reset to Zeros. The coding for Can gateway and control head is the same like Audi A8. For 77 Telephone module the coding is a little bit different but when I inserted the mesage from VCDS is "Coding was valid/accepted", there no error messages. For me is strange that the module in VCDS screen that I attached in my previous post doesn't have a name (I pointed with "? ?" ). I don't know how ot is possible?

I share that thought. Was your module a new one or a used one?
These modules tend to be easily damaged by software updates.
That the coding is not stored after a reboot supports this.

So endlich einen neuen STG ohne rsap eingebaut und es funktionierte auf Anhieb.
Das einzige was ich nich nicht geschafft habe ist Telefonbuch vom Telefonspeicher in das MMI zu übertragen.Vielecht gibt es ein Trick.

erstmal ein dickes Kompliment über die Anleitung und Infos von euch, das ist wirklich großartig. Auch das selbst ein so "alter" Thread noch lebt.

Bin erst ganz frisch dabei und super begeistert. Deshalb einfach DANKE an euch.

Bezüglich der Bluetooth FSE noch eine Frage, ist mit dieser auch Musikstreaming (A2DP) möglich?
