Grosses iDrive 8 Update am 18.7.
Hallo zusammen,
hab gerade von meinem Händler erfahren das es am Montag das grosse iDrive Update geben soll. Bin mal gespannt und wollte schon mal den Thread dazu aufmachen. Vorfreude ist ja bekanntlich die grösste Freude. Endlich eine vernünftige Ladeplanung hoffe ich ganz ganz stark.
Worauf freut ihr euch? Was erwartet ihr vom neuen Update?
Die die keine Lust auf Updates haben müssen ja auch nicht :-)

Hab nun mit dem Händler gesprochen und das Update auf 07/22 haben sie bei 2 Autos gemacht und danach wurde bei beiden über Nacht die Batterie komplett entladen und es gab Probleme mit dem Energiemanagement. Nun wartet man wohl wieder auf ein Update. Puuuh ...
… das hört sich nicht gut an …
Habe heute mal meinen Händler befragt. Dort sagt man mir, man wisse nichts von einem Update - das Auto würde sich melden. Elektromobilität ist bei einigen Händlern wohl doch noch „Neuland“.
Also weiter abwarten was OTA irgendwann mal so ankommt. Die Karre fährt ja auch mit dem aktuellen Stand problemlos.

Nicht E-Mobilität, sondern Updates. Frag ihn mal ober auch seine Computer nie aktualisiert. Der hat nur keine Lust, ich würde da nicht locker lassen. Allerdings bringt es auch nichts wenn dann so Probleme auftreten wie von @iosninos geschildert.

* new map colours
* new startup sound
* new drive modes (expressive and relax)
* new ability to select a startup drive mode (except for sport mode)
* new iconic sounds for all drive modes (except efficient)
* new ambient lighting styles for the new drive modes
* new g-meter option on the driver display
* new sport display on the HUD
* new visualisation style for BMW assistant (two options, harmonious and expressive. She even has a face. It’s super cute)
* ability to map the long press of the mic button to an assistant
* new automation for front panorama view that can be enabled at set locations
* new charger search icon on the map screen (full screen and widget)

Danke @mfre klingt doch super spannend!! Ich hoffe nächste Woche bin ich dann mal dran da der Wagen mal wieder beim Händler ist :-/
Ich bin auch gespannt. Habe am 12. August den Update Termin.
Hab meinen am Freitag abgeholt. Der hat das 7.2022 Update drauf. Keine Probleme bisher.

Joah ist iX, wie es unten auch steht. Der i4 hat auch mit 07/22 keine anderen drive modes und GPS-Punkte setzen für die Panorama View ging schon immer beim i4.

Das dachte ich mir leider auch schon das es vor allem für den IX ist. Schade eigentlich ...
Hat hier irgendwer schon ein Update OTA bekommen? Meiner verharrt bei 03.2022.
Ich kenne es bisher nur, dass es vom Händler aufgespielt wurde, wie auch bei mir, allerdings iX.
Ja ich habe es auch über den Händler bekommen. Angeblich kommt es ca. 3 Monate nach Release via OTA Update .... leider erst ....
Wahrscheinlich deswegen, weil sie immer noch Bugs am fixen sind. Es gibt mittlerweile sicher schon die dritte Subversion von 07.2022. Bekomme morgen nochmal ein Update, weil nach dem ersten 07.2022 der Digital Key Plus nicht mehr tut.
Also mein Händler meinte sie hätten Ultra viele Probleme und es kommt gar kein Fix weil anscheinend im November ein sehr grosses Update kommt. In wie fern das stimmt kann ich leider nicht sagen.
Er berichtet davon das bei manchen das Laden nicht mehr funktioniert oder auch das das gesamte System abstürzt und sich nicht mehr starten lässt ausser wenn man alles ausschaltet und den Wagen 3 Minuten zugeschlossen stehen lässt (fragt mich nicht .....) damit könnte man anscheinend das Problem dann lösen. Zum Glück hatte ich das Problem nicht bin aber froh das mal gehört zu haben da ich bald einen längeren Trip mache.
