Mal wieder ein paar Fragen zur Ambientebeleuchtung im LCI

Hi,

habe mal wieder in meinem F11 LCI die Ambientebeleuchtung hoch codiert, weil die doch arg unsichtbar war.

Nun ist mir aufgefallen, dass in den Türen zwar die Zierleiste oben und das Fach unten beleuchtet ist, aber nicht die Griffschalen.

Auf Bildern sieht man aber oft beleuchtete Griffschalen.

Will ein wenig damit rumspielen und basteln. Lichtleiter habe ich, mir fehlen noch die LEDs. Will kräftige LEDs da reinsetzen.

Daher Fragen:

- Hat der LCI überhaupt noch die Giffschalenbeleuchtung?

- welche Farbe haben die LEDs? - Die sind ja zweifarbig, eine Farbe ist Weiß, die andere ein Orange oder Rot... aber welches genau? - Soll ja zu der vorhandenen passen.

So, habe jetzt mal nachgesehen.

Die Griffschalen sind tatsächlich beleuchtet, aber auch auf voller Pulle so schwach, dass man kaum was davon sieht.Habe jetzt ein paar LEDs bestellt (Amber/Bernstein 606nm) und bastele da mal dran rum.

Außerdem will ich noch über dem Handschufach unter die Zierleiste auch Ambientelicht basteln.

Meine Beobachtung/Erfahrung im F10 LCI von 2014 mit AmbiLight, Dakota Black? Jedenfalls schwarz:

Auto gebraucht bei einem Toyotahändler gekauft.

Im iDrive kann ich zwischen weiß und orange wählen und die Helligkeit einstellen.

Hmm, anscheinend kaputt, weil nichts von Beleuchtung gesehen, also zum Händler.

"Wir fahren den mal in die Garage, da ist's dunkel."

Tja, keine Spur von Beleuchtung.

"Ich rufe mal BMW um die Ecke an."

...

"Am Armaturenbrett ist noch ein Regler, den sollten wir mal hochstellen."

Immer noch keine Spur von Beleuchtung.

"Ich rufe nochmal BMW um die Ecke an."

...

"Schwarze Innenausstattung. Da ist das leider so."

Er hält ein weißes Blatt Papier in die Türablage

"Es funktioniert aber, sehen Sie? Moment...ich muss es näher dran halten."

Nun, äh, ja, hmm. Ich will es nicht so puffig-penetrant wie im Mini, aber soooo gediegen ist mir doch zu viel Understatement.

Das HUD dreht bei Sonne ordentlich auf. Sehr gut.

Ich vergaß: Griffschalenbeleuchtung habe ich. Aber nur außen. Oder mein Blatt Papier zum Testen war nicht weiß genug.

Hello i have ambient light in the car and it is good vissible , but i dont have any ambient light on the doorhandles. Yes my doorhandels have lights on the outside of the car.

Dous your F10 have the ambientlight on the doorhandels inside the car ?? My F10 is from 2016 LCI.

A 2016 F10 equipped with Amiente Light does definitely have lighted door handles inside the car.

Try the following at night:

Get into the drivers seat and close the door. Switch on ignition (motor not needed) and head lights.

Set the dimmer for passenger lights to maximum. Also set amiente light in i-Drive to maximum.

Now examine the area a few centimeters above the door handle grib (tap with your fingers). Then you will notice a little hole in grip housing from where hardly visible light illuminates the grip.

Okay i will do this , the hole i already found but i bought my car 2 years agio a brand new F10 from 01/2016 and i can see the ambient light very good when al is set to maximum , but i never saw the inside door handles illuminated before sertenly not like in the picture that was shown here in this dispute. If it is illuminated then it must be so weak that it is not notable , why is it so weak because the other illuminations on the doorpanels are very good vissible.

I will give it a try when i come back from holiday in 2 weeks.
