Dension Gateway 100 an Radio Conert II+

Hallo Leute,

ich würde gerne an meinen Audi-Radio Concert II+ einen Ipod oder einen externen Datenspeicher anschließen um meine MP3s abspielen zu können. Der Radio an sich kann das bereits (auch die ID3-Infos werden alle angezeigt), allerdings möchte ich nicht ständig die CDs wechseln.

Mir wäre sehr wichtig, dass beim Anschluss eines Ipods ebenfalls die ID3-Infos im Radio angezeigt werden. Ich weiß, das Thema wurde schon einige Male hier diskutiert, aber noch nicht in Verbindung mit dem Concert II+. Ich hab nun mittlerweile selbst bei Dension angefragt und auch bei Netuno.de. Beide haben mir bestätigt, dass die Infos im Radio und im FIS angezeigt werden. Allerdings bin ich nach wie vor etwas misstrauisch, da laut einem anderem Händler es nicht funktioniert.

Deshalb die Frage an euch: Hat von euch jemand schon den Dension Gateway 100 an einen Concert II+ verbaut? Über Erfahrungsberichte würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Nach über einem dreiviertel Jahr E-Mail-Verkehr mit Dension hab ich nun endlich ein Update zugeschickt bekommen, dass angeblich den Fehler "letzter iPod-Titel / Name der Radiostation" behebt. Allerdings hab ich es bisher nicht geschaftt, das Update erfolgreich aufzuspielen. Auch der Support durch das Dension-Team hat zu keinem Erfolg verholfen, mittlerweile bekomm ich wieder gar keine Antwort mehr auf meine E-Mails.

Anbei das Update, vielleicht funktioniert es ja bei euch. Wäre euch für eueren Erfahrungsbericht sehr dankbar.

Please follow the steps below to update firmware:
# Delete all previous update files and reset your iPod.
# Extract the attached ZIP archive.
# Copy the update package to iPod via iTunes (approx. 750 files).
# Disconnect iPod from PC.
# Turn the car radio on and change the source to the Dension unit (CD changer).
# Select Music/Genres/_config/Menu/Update/Start_Update song and start playing it on your iPod.
# While it’s playing, insert your iPod into the cradle or dock cable. (the update process will start automatically) # After about 5 minutes, the Dension unit will restart with the new firmware.
# When the starting screen appeared on your iPod, you can check the version number in the top right corner of the screen.

Please note:
The update process works only in Dension User Interface mode (in which case the iPod's buttons are locked and control is only possible from the head unit).
