Das Sync 3 wird bald ein Update erhalten: 2.2.6
Hallo zusammen,
Update zu Sync3 2.2.6 im USA gerade veröffentlicht. Für EU Versionen muss man noch warten weil anscheinend nicht kompatible ist…. Hoffentlich wird es nicht lange dauern… Ich glaube dass das HW Upgrade für Carplay in EU nicht notwendig ist weil wir schon die neuste Version bekommen haben (2.0).

This software release is the latest update in our continued efforts to improve system performance, device connectivity, and the overall SYNC experience.
This software contains the following enhancements:
Updated voice recognition engine.
Bluetooth phone, media, and Wi-Fi improvements.
Navigation user interface improvements (if equipped).
Android Auto for supported devices.
Apple CarPlay for supported devices. Owners of 2016 models with SYNC 3 are required to perform a software upgrade and purchase a hardware upgrade through your dealer.
The installation of this update will take up to 60 minutes to complete. DO NOT remove your USB drive or turn off your vehicle. You must wait until Installation Complete is displayed on the center screen before removing your drive or turning your vehicle off. Be sure your vehicle engine is running (not in accessory mode) throughout the entire installation process. Although your vehicle must be in park when you initiate the installation process, once the download process has begun, you may drive your vehicle.

In den USA ist der offizielle Release der 2.2 Built 1711 nun erfolgt. Dort kann es (bisher) keiner als WiFi Update beziehen, sondern man bekommt es auf der Ford Owner Seite als Download angeboten und kann es dann via USB Stick einspielen.
Wäre schön, wenn sich hier nun auch etwas tun würde zwecks Bugbeseitigung und neuer Karten.

Denke auch nicht das das Monat und Jahr heißt da bei uns auch Straßen von 2017 drin sind
Allgemein muss ich noch zum Navi sagen, das ich dieses Wochenende mit dem Wohnwagen nach Spanien gestartet bin und mit der Routenführung wie auch der Stauwarnung/Umfahrung sehr zufrieden war. Live Traffic läuft bei mir auch problemlos....
Das Auto Ansicht macht mir bis jetzt auch richtig viel Spaß und hat die 1,8to auch gut hier runter bekommen hab das Auto jetzt seid März (Neuwagen).180PS AWD
