Wenn man bedenkt das er dir dazu noch deinen Wagen mit Wunschmotor Mieten wollte, hat er doch mehr geleistet als die Konkurrenz. 😉

I am still undecided between 7 or 5 seater. Don't really need 7 and the boot in the 5 looks more practical. But 7 might be handy someday...
Does somebody know the answer to the following:
7 seater: 700L with 5 seats, 1775L with 2 seats (difference of 1075L)
5 seater: 760L with 5 seats, 1920L with 2 seats (difference of 1160L)
Where does the extra difference of 85L come from? Is there a difference in the second row between 5 and 7 seater? (i.e., has the 7 seater less space? Maybe put a bit forward to accommodate for the third row?)

Ich deute deinen Smiley mal als Aussage der Ironie. Mein „Wunschmotor“ soll einfach nur ein Benziner sein und VW ist angeblich nicht in der Lage, einen zur Probefahrt bereitzustellen. Der wollte/musste einen über eine Autovermietung leihen. Das finde ich bemerkenswert!
Es gibt, laut mehreren Händlern hier im Kölner Raum, tatsächlich seitens Volkswagen noch keine Allspace 180PS/220PS Benziner aus dem Pool.
Ich musste die kürzere Variante mit den TSI Motoren
probefahren.

I think its because the loading floor is a little bit higher with the 7 seater

Auch wenn es nicht 100% sondern nur zu 90% Passen sollte.
Probiere doch mal den Standard Tiguan mit dem TSI, so mache ich es auch um ihn mit dem Diesel zu vergleichen.

Es geht nur eins von beiden... Komfortsitze oder Ergo Aktiv... ich weiß nicht was er da konfiguriert hat!
The two additional seats are not as flat as the standard 5 seat trunk floor...
You can compare this to some cars with all wheel drive and subwoofer in the back. As my A3 with quattro and Bang and Olufsen there is no chance to lower the trunk floor as it's possible on other models without that equipment. I'm loosing 40L in this case.
There is still a discrepancy:
Behind the 2nd row you have a difference of 60L, due to the higher loading floor indeed (760L in 5 seater vs 700L in 7 seater).
With the 2nd row flat, there is a total difference of 145L, an extra 85L (1920L in 5 seater vs 1775L in 7 seater).
This extra 85L must come somehow from the 2nd row area...
I seem to remember reading quite some time ago in this thread here that someone was telling that the extra space in the 7 seater on the 2nd row was less than he expected and that he was going to check out the 5 seater to compare. Is it possible that the 2nd row is put a bit forward to accommodate the 3rd row in a 7 seater? This would account for the extra 85L of difference. This would also mean that the boot space in a 5 seater is actually a bit longer (even if it is only 2cm). Of course, when you find measurements online it is always about the 7 seater...

Gerade mal geguckt wie die die Karren in der Heimat meines Bruder raushauen, mit satt Rabatt , mit 184PS , Achtgangautomat und natürlich 6 Jahren Garantie .
An alle die hier immer schreiben das da ja noch Steuer draufkommt, richtig ,allerdings ist die Salestax dort keine 19% sondern 6,25%, also bleiben die Karren spottbillig
Hier stehen mal eben 60 Stück zum Mitnehmen rum .

Sind aber alle ohne LED Scheinwerfer und die Ausstattung bei den günstigen ist jetzt auch nicht so bombe...
Hat schon mal jemand was von VW gehört bezüglich weiterer Lackierungen? Im Katalog ist der Allspace ja in einem Silberton abgebildet.
