Tiptronic probleme

VW Passat B5/3B

Hello, I will write in English because Im bad in German writing. Please understand. You can answer in German of course, I understand.
I bought injuried car Passat 3B Year 1998 2.3 VR5 Tiptronic gears ZF 5HP19 - DUM.
I cannot checked exactly the gears (all stages) before sale but when I give to stage R od D the car throtes/pulls (gears).
After reparing the chaassis and wheel holders my mechanic change the filter and ATF oil in tiptronic gears. On dashboard dissapear the LCD display for gear posititon (PRND321) . there is no sign. D and R position are now without pulls and throtes but therre is luck of power. I have feeling that it stocks in stage 3 (4), Tiptronic manula shifting is out (no reacting). Rear white lights for R is turned on even in D stage.
OBD tester has no gear modul detected. If I take a ride for 10m you can smell the oil, but there is no leaking noted. 5l of oil was replaced by oil change. Mechanik said me that he knew the procedure and that gear went to FAIL SAFE MODE possibly.
Can anybody give me advise what to do?
Thanks a very very lot.

Yes, the specialist, who is working on my TC U repair is specialzed on mobiles and like that small electronics.

Thank you very much for the data that you sent to email.

Now Im checking the TCU suitibility of diferent TCU for my chassis Number.

Uros

I ve found used TCU 3B0 927 156E. It was the one and only suitible for type AGZ VR5 motor and 5HP19 DUM trany.

The later versions of TCU have CAN bus and canot be used or reprogramed!!

Hello,

I ve just replace the gears and wandler/converter with used one.

[b]The reason for tiptronic gears damage was mixing of colling fluid with gears ATF in oil cooler - the sign is the ATF (milk) in the expansion container.

The suitible zypes for passat 3b AGZ VR5 are: DUM (original), DUL, EBU, CJQ. I take CJQ, but there was a problem with positioning hole, which was in fact different like by DUM type, but we solved that (expensive in profesional workshop (copying coordinates from DUM to CJQ with precision 0,01) ).

Now my car runs perfect, the gears changes smoth.

Costs: ATF oil cooler: 130EUR
Getriebe (used) 900 EUR
ATF: 9l 90EUR
filter kit: 80 EUR
getriebe computer: 200 EUR
positioning hole: 200 EUR
work in VW service: 300 EUR

Costs on basic DUM getriebe, which was later known
for unusefull:

oil change: 6l 650EUR
filter kit: 80 EUR
work in srevice: 80EUR
electronic diagnostic in VW service: 100EUR

SUM_ more than 2200EUR...............

Thats it 🙁
