Technische Modifikationen
Hallo Leute,
Let’s go!

Eine wirklich sehr schöne Plastiktüte. ;-). :-)
😁😁
Nice! Also changed the turbo?

Not yet…
Still following setups to be modified:

Apr intake
Maybe injectors too
And stilling looking to find any information regarding to gearbox modification, such as: installing of s5 gearbox or s6 gearbox on my car…

Sieht gut aus.
Hat das TÜV? Ich habe bisher keine Abgasanlage für den 55 TFSI mit TÜV gefunden...

Thanks, but with this setup the s-tronic is already slipping. You can even hear that on the video. 600-650 is the limit without gearbox modification.Zitat:

KKS hat vor zwei Jahren einen 55 TFSI mit LLK, Turbolader und Downpipe inkl. EU6 Kat gemacht. Ergebnis 520PS und 770NM.
Getriebesoftware wurde angepasst, aber keine technische Änderung.
Hi,
I had my A6 C8 55 TFSIe tuned very recently and the values that were reached are 428PS and 622Nm. The tuning for the DSG doesn't seem to be available yet from Autotuner. When you mention "600-650 is the limit without gearbox modification", I suppose you mean without physical changes, but with the TCU software optimized ?
I want to have that TCU optimization done... Do you guys know what the pressure increase should be on the coupling plates ? Standard I believe pressure is 18 or 20 bar. Should I have this increased to 23 bar ? What do you guys thing is sufficient and safe ? BR, Kris
Hi Kris,
Where did you tune your car? 55 TFSIe has a 2.0L engine and i do not know if they have the same gearbox as a 3.0 L 55 TFSI.
I talked with JD Engineering and i have ordered stage 3(+) parts for my 3.0L. We hope to get around 500/550ps and limiet the gearbox at 650/700 Nm. It should hold the 650Nm without big problems and maybe more.
You are correct, TCU is still not available for the 382 gen2 gearbox, unfortunately. I will only update my software of the TCU to the newest version…
Hi Darkrider85,
The tuning (just stage 1) was done by https://www.gorilla-tuning.be/
The gearbox is the 0HL meaning DL382+-7A (so the high torque variant, up to 500Nm).
For my question on the pressure of the pressure pump... Do you know what kind of increase is recommended ? Up to 23 bar ? or ...?
BR, Kris

Hi Kris,
I think that the 2.0 as well as 3.0 has the same gearbox then…
To be honest, i do not know what is recommended for the increase of the pressure pump… maybe i will have this information after mine stage 3 is completed 🙂.
Hi Darkrider85,
Based on what I can find on the web, it is the same gearbox indeed.
When JD Engineering is saying it should be able to handle 650Nm or even more...that's a relief for me :-)
If you're talking about stage 3....it means you're on stage 2 at the moment... what torque values do you have now then?

Hi Kris,
JD mentioned that they have tuned a lot of these cars to stage 1 and stage 2 and these have around 650/670Nm. They say that the gearbox can have it, because they did not have any issues until today 🙂… they have also an audi a6 c8 3.0L V6 (55 tfsi) themselfes.
I am still factory at the moment and will do the stage 3 setup within couple of weeks hopefully..
(After my rs6 bodykit and rs6 exclusive interior build is finished.
RS6 steel brakes allready on the car, but will be replaced by ceramic rs6 versions soon (hopefully)).
Hi Dark, Hi Kris,
Im in the same boat and planning to tune my 55TFSI via APR. What bothers me a bit is the fact that quite a lot of 55TFSI owners in the US have had transmissions problems after the APR tune (420PS/650NM) with stock TPU.
APR now offers TPU updates depending on your MY.
From what i've read MY2018-2020 is no problem, but they have to read out ECU data to be 100% sure.
I seriously won't tune that engine to 420PS/650NM while leaving the transmission on stock parameters.
@Dark: how about your transmission so far? Noticed any slip in heavy load scenarios?
