Ich möchte mal eine Frage in den Raum stellen, auch wenn ich mir dabei etwas doof vorkomme: mit welchem Verbrauch fahrt ihr eure 2.0 TSI 4Motion mit welchem Streckenprofil? Habt ihr da schon einen groben Richtwert, den ihr teilen mögt?
Hintergrund: ich habe einen BiTDI bestellt, liebäugle aber noch mit dem großem TSI als Alternative... Mir ist bewusst, dass der TSI deutlich höhere Kraftstoffkosten verursacht - ich möchte nur abschätzen, ob es das Wert ist oder eher weniger. 🙂 Und es ist halt 'nen Sahne-Motor!

Beste Grüße aus dem flachen Norden.Da das Fahrzeug noch nicht eingefahren ist, kann man den Durchschnittsverbrauch für die ersten 600 km wahrscheinlich nicht für bar Münze nehmen: 8,8 Liter mehrheitlich im Normalmodus/Fahrstufe D inklusive einen kleineren Pass im Sportmodus selbst geschaltet. Dies auf Schweizer Strassen mit entsprechenden Limiten (inbesondere Autobahn). Hoffe diese Angaben nützen dir etwas.

Ich denke mal, dass der Verbrauch nur niedriger werden kann, wenn du dein Fahrprofil beibehältst.
Ich kann mit den Angaben wirklich etwas anfangen, da wir hier zu 80% Landstraße fahren, insofern geht es in der Regel nicht weit über 100 km/h hinaus, also kommt das Profil deinem schon nahe. Ich bin von 8,8 Litern echt überrascht. 🙂

Kann jemand von den Besitzer vielleicht mal die Bremsscheibengröße VA+HA messen?
Online Ersatzteile findet man verschiedene angaben...
VA entweder 340mm oder 312mm
HA sollte 310mm haben?

Hey, my car just arrived at the dealership and I'll take it on Monday. Looks absolutely great! Will upload some photos right after I get my hands on it. It's the only one with this engine in Bg, can you imagine it? People still think that diesel is the best option in terms of economy and performance, but I bet there's no diesel car that could match the acceleration and the comfort of the good ol' gasoline engine. And who cares about the consumption? Buy a bike or 1.6 TDI and count the cents you've saved while watching the turtles overtaking you on the highway.

I don't care about the money the Passat and the fuel cost, but I care about the cars price performance. I know the new 2.0 TSI engine from my Golf GTI Performance. It's indeed a great engine - powerful, quiet and dynamic. But the new BiTurbo Diesel is a great engine too. If it were up to me, I would rather prefer a more powerful car than a Passat Variant. 😁 Furthermore I think that Audis new 3.0 TDI engine with more than 300 hp or BMWs X50(x)d engine are as good as similar petrol engines except the "pure"diesel sound. 🙁
For my purpose of use the BiTDI seems to be the best option in price performance. But as your sentences indicate: life is too short to drive a slow car! 😉 But both of them aren't really slow, their engines characters are different.
As far as I know there is a difference between the DSGs gear ratio between the 220 hp TSI and the 280 hp TSI. The 280 hp TSI should have a lower ratio. Could someone confirm that? They said in a Skoda Superb 4x4 2.0 TSI (280 hp) review that the engine runs about 3.000 rpm at 130 kph. (Gerne auch weiter in Deutsch)

Wo steht das mit den Klappenauspuff? VW gibt doch nichts kostenlos...
Grad gelesen, dass aktuell der 7R Variant wohl auch keinen Klappenauspuff mehr hat. Nur noch die Limo.
Daher wird es der 280er Passat auch nicht haben. Steht ja hier auch schon von einem Besitzer, dass es keine Klappensteuerung hat.

Ja, in den beiden äusseren Rohren ist eine Klappe. Im Sportmodus tönt er besser.

Das mag ja sein, ich höre da aber nicht einen grossen Unterschied.
Der 280PS'ler dürfte sich in schon etwas kerniger anhören.
Wenn ich unseren Mini JCW daneben stelle, verblasst der Passat völlig.
