Digital Light - Projektionsfunktion funktioniert nicht

Hallo zusammen,

in meinem S206 habe ich nachträglich die Projektionsfunktion des Digital Light aktivieren lassen.
In den Fahrzeugeinstellungen sind auch alle entsprechenden Schalter aktiviert.

Ich habe aber noch nie eine Projektion gesehen.
Beispiel:
Automatischer Spurwechsel auf der Autobahn. Eigentlich müsste ja ein entsprechender Pfeil auf die Straße projektiert werden. Der erscheint aber nicht.
Oder die Anzeige der Fahrzeugbreite in Bauabschnitten der Autobahn. Nichts.

Mein Mercedes-Autohaus hat mir nochmal bestätigt, dass in der Steuerungssoftware alle notwendigen Häkchen für die Aktivierung gesetzt sind. Dort weiß man momentan offenbar auch nicht weiter.
Das letzte generelle Software-Update war Mitte Dezember.

Kennt jemand von Euch das Problem?
Hat die nachträgliche Aktivierung der Projektionsfunktion bei Euch funktioniert?

I don't know about the UK specifically but the projections depend on the country and the legislation there. It could be that the UK does not allow those functions yet. Hence it would therefore not be available in the shop for you. Probably you should check this aspect

Thanks, but like I mentioned, the premium plus package here in the UK comes with it as standard and active. The premium only package however has the equipment but it's not active by default. I emailed Mercedes me and they said this:

Digital Light Projection with animation:

The sensors on the car can determine when and how bright the headlamps should illuminate, preventing drivers from blinding pedestrians or people in other vehicles. I'm curious why people with the same equipment in Germany are able to already purchase this via Mercedes me and I cannot. Especially considering the product is advertised here in the UK with the premium plus package.

Their naming is very confusing. There should be no real difference in hardware between the digital light headlights. I was under the impression there was only one digital light hardware. Dancing lights, adaptive lowbeam, projection features on road should be doable for all with digital light but some perhaps have to pay... This is how I understand it.

There are tons of products and features some can use and others not.

Dashcam available in Denmark not in Germany. "Waschanlagenmodus" only some cars for no given reason. Just like only SOME cars get OTA updates and others don't.

You will not be able to understand why Mercedes is doing what...

Perhaps it's a software update required first. Mine was built in Jan. I started a thread asking people to post their mbux software version, maybe we can get an idea
