Sorry but I dn't understand exactelly what you say...I suppose you say It's not a Corsa Sprint...lollll
I've explained that this car comes from France , it's not a "wide body" ok ! but it's a real Corsa Sprint Gr A made by Irmscher ! Send me some pictures of the Corsa Sprint in Germany, I'm interested and I'm registred on this forum to get more informations about this car.
I've some documents obout this car but all in French, if you want I can scan these and send you.
I´m sorry about hem...
take a look in you`re "nachrichten"
sprint was build in wide an small body.
i have an old cataloque from IRMSCHER at home, tomorrow i will take a look in them. i think you have a real sprint corsa, it look same like the sprint´ers in the cataloque. 😁
Hi,
Indeed from the Picture I would agree and identify this car as one of the rare Corsa A sprint. The car was available in a wide body variant prepared for the Rally Group B, which was vanished in 1985, so the car was not used in the original manner. Afterwards it was additionally available only with frontside and rearside spoilers without the wide body modification. The car could be ordered with the serial engine setup as 1.3 injection engine with catalytic converter and 70 BHP, with the original Irmscher engine with 83 BHP, but could also be equipped with a 1.3Liter engine equipped with weber carburettors with an power output of approx. 130 BHP.
The total number of all produced original "Sprints" ist below 600. If you are able to prove, that this car is an original version and not a later converted car, then it is rare and will become someday maybe even valueable. But for this purpose it is necessary, that this car is original.
And it is even possible that a Corsa Sprint was shown in the Wolfsburgs "autostadt", because they show all cars of a period or which add to a certain topic never the less which origin the cars are from.
Best wishes,
Kester

I'm very happy to read your answer.
I'm sure , it 's a real Corsa Sprint because I've all the homologation sheet Gr A and with these sheets , I've identified all the parts, like gearbox, brakes, engine...etc...one thing as been change, the rollbar because the car was fitted with an aluminium rollcage and since some years was not allowed.
I'm going to scan some info and send you if you want.
Thanks you very much
Regards
Eric

Hi Eric,
You don't have to prove this to me, because I don't want to buy your car 🙂 But it will be necessary to be prooven, if you wish to sell this car. What is maybe interesting to you, this car can be used in the Fia Historical Racing Championchips, if originally homologated (which you say). With this car, you could have good chances in taking part in some of this races, because the Organisations are usually interested also in some more rare touring cars, than 50 Mercedes 300SL 😉
