Audi Q5 Keyless Go retrofit
I am gathering / purchasing the parts needed for Keyless Go for retrofitting purposes and I have one question.
Currently my Key has part - number 8T0959754D which means PR-5D7 (868MHz).
My VIN is WAUZZZ8R79A027XXX.
CDNC Audi Q5.
I believe my Key does not have Keyless Go or Convenience Entry capability.
Does anyone know what is the latest compatible convenience Key for Keyless Go / Keyless Entry compatible with comfort unit 8K0907064CQ (PR-5D7)??

Audi Comfort unit and Key were ordered. Installation will take place in 1 week.
I have the below queries:
What is the difference between XCHG46A001 and XCHGA001?? Do they serve the same function? Do both exist?
Also can one confirm the procedure below to replace old comfort unit with a new comfort unit 8K0 907 064 CQ, and avtivate keyless?

Procedure:
1. Drive to Audi, take all keys with you!
2. ODIS: GFS Replace control unit - STG 46 (old STG remains in it) Follow the application instructions.
3. install the new comfort ECU - the car can't be started!
4. Switch on the hazard indicator so that the control unit does not enter the idle mode, then following the app instructions.
5. Then ODIS "repairing immobilizer" use one key to programme (current software must be VAS-Tester otherwise "bridge 15 relay"😉.
6. Carry out the SVM current/actual comparison so that the parametrization and coding are adopted. If no error message regarding the control unit 05/46 then to point 8.
7. If error message at SVM, enter SVM Code XCHG46A001 (I need to check it with this XCHGA001) to parametrize the control module.
8. Now teach the other keys using the immobilizer function.
The use VCDs
STG 46 - coding byte 7-bit 0 (from 0 to 1)
STG 46 - coding byte 2 bit 3 (from 0 to 1)
STG 5 - coding byte 0 bit 2 (from 0 to 1)
Changes in ADDRESS 42 , 52 , etc. "door control unit"
In this case, code all 4 door control units
Address 42, 52, and so on
- Select the coding
- Select byte 2
- Select bit 4
- Set bit 4 from 0 to 1
Can one please help me out.
I have gone to the dealer and installed the new comfort module and purchased a new advanced Key which was programmed.
The start stop button works. However the keyless entry does not.
I have not DTCs. Is there something I am missing?? How do I enable keyless entry?? All VCDs coding was done correctly as above.

I have installed 4 antennas (cargo, center console, 2 rear doors)
I have installed 4 sensors (4 doors) (+ 4 magnets at the handles).
Was it a mistake that my dealer first programmed the non kessy key. Is this the reason that I have no keyless entry capability????? The advanced key was matched to the non advanced key. Does this create issues with keyless entry????
e.g. keyless entry is disabled because first key programmed was non kessy key.
You have to parameterize the new comfort module with VCP!

I have ticked the coding options with VCDs.
Is there something additional that I cannot do with VCDs???
It seems so but 16017 security code (46 comfort unit) did not help me find the solution, since I did not get in the drop down menu anything with keyless entry.

your Audi dealer can only parametrize the original from your car via SVM. KESSY isn't originally built in in your car.

Thanks. Would it be possible to let me know the step by step procedure?? I have never used VCP thus I need more information from a more experience user. I am in a difficult spot.
Audi spent 2.30 hours on this without result.

In stg 05 I cannot enable in Byte 2 Bit 4, which enables keyless entry for Q5. I have no coding options in Byte 2.
How can I enable this coding option? Using odis to enable this coding I get NRC:$22 (requirements not met)
