TCM gescheitert?
Hallo Leute ,
Vielen Dank!

That sound like an electronic failure inside the TCM. I would send it in to check and repair.
I recommend www.ecutesting.com if you are in GB.Lets suppose its a failure in electronic inside TCM. Why it works when its warmed up? Generally speaking, electronic parts like transistors, diodes, etc, tend to fail when heated!
.........
Maybe inside the tcm is a lose soldering. When the tcm gets warm the soldering expands and the electrical contact is good!

Ja. Ich erklärte dies früher . Ich weiß, Englisch, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es hier eine Hilfe sein kann ? Es wäre einfacher, in Englisch zu erklären.
English is okay!
Thanks!
Gearbox is cft23, inside is the TCM. If TCM fails, what is the impact to the transmission, to be more precise does the transmission work from time to time OR it never works?
Case on my car is that it works fine when engine temps raise! And it shows warnings on the dash when engine temps are low!
What kinds of warning does it show?
Do you feel any problems at low temp?

If I drive or revv at low temps, those two warnings appear, once the engine stationary warmed up then it works fine!
I am not quiet sure, but the first 3 codes are gearbox-tcm malfunctions.
I did't find any used tcm's on ebay. Looks like they are very rare.
Maybe the following Homepage can help. The company repaires tcm's.
Sorry and good luck,

First of all: did you check the battery? How old is it? I ask this, because a lot of problems are caused by weak / aged batteries. A weak battery can cause some funny error codes without a reason. Even if you don't have problems to start the engine, the battery could have a damage resulting in showing some failure codes which do not really exist. If it is possible, try another (good) battery.
Kind regards
electroman
Thanks!
Yeah looks like either there is shorten wire somewhere or broken communication between modules CAN network or any module itself!
Its strange how its reacting differently to the temperatures!
Anyway... thanks!

Hi electroman,
I did try it with a new battery Ca/Ca silver dynamic as recommended but it gave the same result the next morning!
In a way or another, I am not sure if Instrument Cluster is the cause? If it was it wouldn't behave differently to the temps!
Did you recognise any tranny malfunction like no shifting or slipping gears?
Maybe low oil level when the oil is still cold?

When those two warnings appear, screen flashes. If I turn the engine off and then ignition on only, "transmission malf" only is appeared on dash, PRND randomly changes on screen, and the starter relay clicks fast on the fusebox.
And when engine reaches operational temp, none of that happens!
And the gearbox itself is working fine?

Yes. It shifts fine like it used to before!
