Honda CJ250t Tank rust removal

I’m currently restoring a Honda CJ 250t. The tank is quite rusty so I decided to use citric acid to remove the rust. After 24 hours, I still have some rust in the tank. The problem is, that right next to the hole, where you put in fuel, is an edge. It’s difficult to get out all the acid. Has anyone ideas on how to get it out? Nothing comes out of the fuel tap, neither by opening it nor by unscrewing it.

Use a high pressure cleaner, that should get rest of the acid + rust out. Then you need to seal the tank ( there are products on the market). And of cause you need to clean the tap, too.
