OEM number with VIN for spare parts

Mercedes CLK 208 Cabrio
Good morning, can someone privately tell me the OEM number of the part if I provide them with the VIN of my CLK?

The part is the central locking pump.

Thanks

"if I provide them with the VIN of my CLK" ?

.

Well...

you already exposed the VIN in one of your very first appearances here... 🙄

.

Anyways,

the OEM Part - Nr. is displayed in the graphic below... 😎

Thanks, I forgot about the VIN I already posted.

Do I need to go to MB for coding, or will it just work without the specifications I've set now (1 click opens driver's door - 2 clicks + passenger door)?

Excerpts from a post of my highly esteemed colleague dacsan:

partially translated passages from this contribution:

.

The pumps are all compatible with each other, despite the different part numbers. The only difference is the number of air connections, in particular the MKL connection for the multicontour seats and the connection for the EDW (alarm system), which is located next to the white bracket connector and is black.

.

So compare your pump and look for one with the appropriate connections, or more connections if necessary - then seal them. Part numbers are completely irrelevant.

.

A small note: Some errors in the pump may have to be deleted with Star Diagnosis. For example, the MKL connection. If you have an interruption in the line, some pumps go into fault mode and switch off the MKL connection so that it only works again once you have cleared the fault or repaired the leak. Other pumps pump air out of the MKL connection for 1-2 minutes when starting until they realise that no back pressure is being built up and only then are they switched off until the next start. Probably has something to do with the software version.

.

If, your pump is humming, try disconnecting the air connections. (Be careful, they break extremely quickly due to their age, if necessary heat them up with a hair dryer and use some kind of lubricant) Loosen the grey base and leave the pump connected to the power supply. Activate the ZV and check whether air comes out of the FT BFT or trunk. If not, there is probably a fault with the compressor, as the pump is humming. However, the motor could also be stuck.

.

If there is a fault in the central locking system (e.g. leakage), the pump does not go into permanent fault mode as with MKL (depending on the model), but only an error is stored in SD with ‘Timeout boot/driver's door etc.’. the central locking system continues to work anyway.

.

Also have someone with SD to read it out first. The pumps actually indicate quite precisely which fault is present.

thanks to dacsan & best of luck, mike. 🙂
