Kein MP3 für alte Modelljahre..
Hallo,
wie schon in einem anderen Beitrag bestätigt, wird das Nachrüsten der MP3-Wechsler etc. nicht möglich sein.

Was sich Volvo in Sachen Entertainment immer so zurechtbastelt ist einfach abartig. Das ist negativ-Marketing vom feinsten.

vielleicht kannst du deinen Dienstwagen ja einem Kollegen aufs Auge drücken, und doch ein vernünftiges Auto bestellen.
Irgendwie passen Volvo und du nicht so recht zu einander.
Sorry, aber wenn mir eine Marke nicht passt, kaufe ich sie nicht. Ich finde die Story mit der Cockpitbeleuchtung schon irgendwo zwischen Schmunzeln und Kopfschütteln. Oder bist du ein Troll?

es geht hier doch nicht um die grüne Beleuchtung. Kannst Du das nicht verstehen oder möchtest Du es nicht?
Volvo macht im Internet und in den Prospekten Angaben, die schlichtweg falsch sind. Das ist nicht i.O.. Da kann es m.E. nicht zwei Meinungen geben.
Meine "grüne" Beleuchtung ist doch noch harmlos gegenüber der MP3 Aussage. Und die Antworten bzw. lächerlichen Rechtfertigungen von Volvo sind einfach nur beschämend.
Wie sagten doch schon einige im diesem Thread, man kann sich doch nicht alles gefallen lassen.
Was ist eigentlich ein Troll? Soll das ein Spaß sein, oder eine Beleidigung? Ich weiß es nicht.
Warum vermitteln mir einige ein Gefühl, dass man sich in diesem Forum nicht über Volvo und deren dämliches Verhalten beschweren/äußern kann ohne dass man von anderen Usern persönlich angegriffen wird usw..
Ich habe doch gar nichts gegen Dich gesagt, sondern meine persönliche Meinung zu Volvo.

Hallo Sternchen: ich habe diese Wochen ein Prospekt vom C30 gesehen und da ist deutlich sichtbar das die Beleuchtung Grün ist. Im Prospekt von V50 steht tatsächlig ein Bild wo mann meinen könnte die Beleuchtung ist weiss. Aber dein Händler spielt hier auch eine Rolle.
In ältere Prospekte stand ein Satz das die Audiosysteme aufwertbar sind, also NICHT !! Und dieser Satz ist auf einmal in neuere Prospekte auch verschwunden. Volvo D hat gemeint das die Druck- und Schreibfehler aussliessen; ein Bekanter Anwalt hat aber gemeint das es kein Schreibfehler ist weil es in ein Neudruck nicht korrigiert sondern einfach weg ist.
Das Dumme ist immer wieder das Volvo D sagt es liegt an Volvo S und wirklich keine Verantwortung nehmen. Volvo S sagt natürlich das D mein "Partner" ist usw.
Seitdem mein Händler nach 11 Monaten und 13 Besuche endlich mein Spiegelproblem gelöscht hat, bin ich zufrieden, es war mir bewüst das das Radio keine MP3 CD's abspielen kann, ich finde es aber unglaublich das mann zwar bezahlen will aber kein neues Radio bekommen kann, mann muss ein neues Auto kaufen !! Und wenn Volvo dann sagt, ja das verstehen wir, das ist auch eigentlich nicht normal, dann finde ich es sehr abnormal das Volvo D WIEDER ein Produkt (USB Anschluss) bringen das gar nicht funktioniert.

You choose not to answer on my fax dated 18-9-2006. I regret this very much and had expected a more client friendly approach although the ugly words, copied directly out of an email: “Further I would like to inform you that all future correspondence regarding these issues will be filed with interest but without further action” from your Mrs. Jöhnsson, show that you seem to be not interested in communicating with your clients.
Volvo Germany did apologize for these words, which is nice but does not take away that I feel deeply embarrassed: first I get answers that are absolutely not correct, not to say nonsense, and when I ask for clarification why I must accept such silly answers I get told that Volvo, Mrs. Jöhnsson, does not want to communicate with me anymore….
My dealer also looked into this case and, also as an apology for an 11 months longs winding problem with one of the mirrors that after 13 visits to his workshop finally was solved, compensated me a bit in offering me a free service interval. Nice… but:
Until the day that Volvo Sweden excuses them selves for the above, I will not buy a Volvo in my whole further life anymore and discourage any others to do so. Not because the cars are bad but because Volvo is an unfriendly company that is not worth my money.
This whole case got my attention again, because Volvo does not seem to learn from the past. Not only does Volvo not allow their clients to install new radio’s, they should buy a complete new car instead, but since recently Volvo is offering an aftermarket option, an USB MP3 connector, that only works when you have a new(er) radio, for which you need a software upgrade that Volvo does not want to test…. So this option is a fiction for almost all of your S40/V50/C90 clients that made these models popular for you.
If Volvo, like most Volvo service people I had contact with over the last year, had truly understood what a trouble they caused by deciding not to allow their clients to install new radio’s they would never have introduced this USB MP3 “solution”. But no, Volvo acts like there are listening to the market but do not live up this.
I bring this “problem” again under your attention, because I have the strong feeling that your (development and marketing) people are not telling you the full impact of their decisions. Decisions that cost Volvo money: if there would be a software upgrade I would buy it and also buy the USB MP3 connection, bring turnover, cash, EBITA. I am very sure that thousands of other Volvo S40/V50/C90 owners would do so also. But it looks like Volvo does not want a bit of money for an upgrade, no: we should buy complete new cars!
This is madness and I again ask you to rethink this “strategy” and come up with a solution. You as no other should know that car manufactures not listening to the market very quickly can come in to deep trouble. Please avoid that, Volvo is a fine brand and, after excuses, I would favour it over all others.
Please react on this fax and have Mrs. Jöhnnson drop her negative and aggressive attitude. Lets strive for a better world !

Volvo Deutschland ist wirklich furchtbar. Ich wurde nach einer Anfrage - für meinen Geschmack sehr barsch - darauf hingewiesen, daß ich nur die Händler zu fragen hätte. Keine Weiterleitung meiner Frage an einen Händler mit einem netten Hinweis oder so...
Nun ja, unser V50 ist schön und funktioniert. Wird aber wohl der erst und letzte Volvo gewesen sein. Wenn man mal ein schlechtes Exemplar erwische sollte, kann man auf Volvo D wohl wirklich nicht zählen.
Und das mit den MP3 nervt wirklich! Währe es jetzt nicht unser Zweitwagen, der nur fast nur Kurzstrecken fährt, würde ich mich noch mehr ärgern. So nehme ich als Kunde nur das ignorante und stillose Verhalten von Volvo zur Kenntnis und speichere es in meinem Langzeitgedächtnis ab 😁

Ich kann mich meinen Vorrednern nur nochmal anschließen. Und ich hoffe wirklich, dass diese Arbeitsmentalität nur bei der Entwicklung des Audiosystems aufgetreten ist. Ich will mir gar nicht ausmalen, was passieren könnte, wenn die gleichen Dilettanten an den Sicherheitssystemen des Wagen arbeiten würden. Da wird einem ja Angst und Bange.

I know that Volvo, you, does not like to communicate with me, a long term customer, demonstrated again because I did not receive an answer on the enclosed letter dated 27-2-2007, how rude can a company be. But before you even would start to think that your strategy of denial seems to work and that I will give up, I would like to share the following with you:
As you know I am Dutch and on Dutch television there is a well known consumer program called "Kassa".
Today I brought the crazy situation Volvo is causing (to fresh up your memory in case you would have forgotten: one can only get a new radio in his "old" Volvo S40/V50/XC90 if one buys a complete new car because Volvo refuses to test the software needed for the new radio's to work) under their attention.
When you have some luck this item will not make it to broadcast. But if it does, it would be a shame if you would not have been able to prepare yourself. Maybe you can also write them your old-time-favourite sentence about filling with interest; a combination of words that still intrigues me...
You and I seem to have a personal problem, but it would be rather unprofessional from your side if this petty personal vendetta would hinder Volvo, you, in finally making a (software) solution available for all your other customers that face the same problem.

Respekt vor Deiner Ausdauer! Es betrifft mich zwar nur indirekt, da wir den V50 als Zweitwagen nehmen und bisher keine MP3 dort abspielen wollen. Da wir ihn aber noch 10 Jahre fahren wollen, wer weiß.
Die Arroganz von Volvo ist aber schon extrem. Wie sagt man: Der Fisch stinkt vom Kopf! Da nützen auch keine realtiv guten Autohäuser, Volvo Deutschland und auch die Konzernzentrale sind einfach kundenunfreundlich. Bei Audi und VW hatte ich wenn überhaupt eher das umgekehrte Gefühl.
Was solls, ein Volvo wird es nimmer mehr, wahrscheinlich muß man mit den Füßen abstimmen. Schade eigentlich. Hätte jetzt als Firmenwagen auch einen V50 oder vielleicht sogar V70 nehmen können, habe ich aber nach den bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Volvo nicht mal drüber nachgedacht.

P.S. Wundere mich selbst: Mein V50 ist ziemlich mängelfrei und gefällt mir immer noch sehr gut, trotzdem ist meine Einstellung zu Volvo in den latzen zwei Jahren deutlich schlechter geworden.

Hi, mein Freund lebt in Mosbach (ich in München)... und das ist unweit von Sinsheim... also bin ich fast jedes Wochenende im Odenwald... werde also da mal vorbei gehen !!
Von Volvo natürlich nix mehr gehört...... aber so bald mein Leasingsvertrag vorbei ist kommt NIE wieder ein Volvo bei mrir rein; nicht das die Auto's slecht sind aber nur wegen Volvo's unmögliches Verhalten Kunden gegenüber.
Das wäre super. Würde denen am liebsten selbst mal einheizen. Wenn Du wirklich die Gelegenheit haben solltest, mach sie auf jeden Fall darauf aufmerksam, dass deren Zielgruppe stetig kleiner wird (was Volvo betrifft) und die am besten mal ganz schnell was funktionierendes auf den Markt bringen.
Aber wem erzähl ich das 🙄

Hoffen wir, dass es was hilft. Schätze aber, dass das Dension dermaßen egal ist. Es betrifft ja eh nur einen kleinen Teil der V50-Fahrer, die ein Fahrzeug vor MJ07 haben und davon ist es auch nur eine handvoll, die das Ding kaufen will. Und dann wird es wohl so ca. 500€ kosten und das ist einigen einfach zu viel. Aber verständlich, wenn die Firma da einiges an Entwicklung reinsteckt und nachher vielleicht 200 Geräte absetzt....
naja, unserer Autos werden nicht jünger und beim nächsten Mal gibts halt was anderes...
