Das Aus für die B-Klasse
... in ihrer derzeitigen Form! So berichtete das Handelsblatt.
Das wäre sehr schade. Für mich ist die B-Klasse das sinnvollste Auto in der MB-Modellpalette.
Vielleicht wird die B-Klasse aber auch lediglich durch eine rein elektrische Version ersetzt.
Die nächsten Tage/Wochen dürften Klarheit bringen...

Hallo zusammen,
es eigentlich ganz einfach: In den Fachforen soll, damit alle Nutzer es verstehen, nur in deutscher Sprache geschrieben werden. Dies hat mit mangelnder Weltoffenheit nichts zu tun, sondern soll nur verhindern, dass wir hier einen Sprachkauderwelsch bekommen, den keiner versteht. Dies gilt übrigens für alle Sprachen.
Es ist schon richtig, dass es Übersetzer gibt (die auch die Moderation nutzt, wenn Jemand auf die Idee kommt, Beleidigungen in Fremdsprache schreiben zu müssen), aber dennoch sollten sich auch Personen, die nicht deutsch sprechen, bemühen hier im Forum in deutsch zu schreiben. Es ist schon einfacher, wenn nur eine Person übersetzen muss und nicht alle Anderen.
Für Diskussionen in englischer Sprache geht's hier weiter, forumsübergreifend.

There is a lot desinformation about Daimler crysis thats why Im writing about models, Handelsblatt are actual the only media source about possible discontinuation of B class and Ola demanted that on Annual conference. Discontinuation of S class based models are coming from before. Job cuts are also planed year before. Im just trying to bring real information to help a lot of people understand that Daimler crysis is not big at all, at least in MB cars.
Demand for compact cars is huge. A class sold almost 200 000 in Europe alone, E class sold about 105 000 on europe. Compact cars is what put mercedes in front of BMW.
In Germany in private sales, in last year and in January, B class sold more than A class, only to be topped by GLC. Like I said, B class is specific car, you cant put it into MPV class cause its not MPV. Its more versatile Hatchback. BMW is bringing Series 2 in 2021. There was news couple months ago that Daimer and BMW will probbably co operate on platform that will lead to production on next generation of Bmw series 1 and its derivates and A class and its derivates.
Electric vehicles dont bring profit yet, Its hard to produce electric car and profit from it, especialy SUV, which mercedes did. Thats why VW bring ID3 which is a lot simalar to A and B class. Eu co2 emissoons restrictions in future will brig a lot of damage for SUV cause there is a rumor that EU wants to bring additional taxes for SUV in future.
Mercedes has a lot of things to make cut with. But my belive that compact cars are safe especialy cause probbably Bmw or Geely Volvo will cooperate for next compact car architecture..

The B-Class has only one shape. The comparison should be fair.
A class figures include Aclass hatchback "L version for China" and Saloon
CLA and CLA SB, sold 60 000 in europe, 2 000 in USA, makin it worldwide around cca 75 000.
B class is having only one shape and only 10 months on the market last year.
