Zulieferer V70 D5 Modell 2004
Hi.
Wer kann mir sagen, von wem die folgenden Teile beim D5 zugeliefert werden?
1) Motor
2) Getriebe (ZF?)
3) Achsen
Es interessiert mich einfach so. Bin durch einen thread über den neuen V50 (Motor=Peugeot, Getriebe Ford) darauf gekommen.
Danke
Olli

Also, mir wurde gesagt:
- Motoren: VOLVO
- Schaltgetriebe: VOLVO

"It is fitted with a Japanese-made Aisin-Warner five-speed automatic with "GearTronic", Volvo's name for a manually-overrideable automatic."
http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/jk2/s60r-v70r.htm
"The net result is a thumping 300 horsepower (by the "DIN" German Industry Standard) and either 295 lb.-ft. of torque from 1,950 to 5,250 r.p.m., or 258 lb.-ft. from 1,850 to 6,000 r.p.m., depending on whether it's bolted to Volvo's own and brand-new six-speed manual transmission, or the carry-over Aisin Warner five-speed automatic with "Geartronic" manual override."

"May 8, 2003
Now equipped with AW's 55-51SN model FWD 5-speed automatic transmission
On May 8, 2003, Volvo Car Corporation(Volvo) began sales of the XC90, the company's first SUV, and the 2.5-liter engine model is equipped with AW's 55-51SN model FWD 5-speed automatic transmission.
This automatic transmission was designed with rough road conditions in mind. To ensure sufficient drive capability for the heavy SUV, the final gear is set to low gear for smooth acceleration. Greater fuel efficiency is also achieved with the use of bearing parts with low friction drag.
The XC90 is manufactured at Volvo's Torslanda plant in Gothenburg on Sweden's west coast."

"Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen
Touareg feature AW's TR-60SN
RWD 6-speed AT
The Porsche AG (Porsche) Cayenne and Volkswagen AG (Volkswagen) Touareg, which went on sale in Japan in June and September, respectively, both feature AW's TR-60SN RWD 6-speed AT.
This AT is designed for use in SUVs in both off-road and high-speed, Autoban-style conditions and is capable of withstanding the forces generated by the high-torque engines that characterize such vehicles. A new gear train serves to improve not only acceleration performance, but also the shift feel and fuel economy. The AT being used with Cayenne models featuring both naturally aspirated and turbo variants of the 4.5-liter V8 engine, and with Touareg models featuring the 3.2-liter V6 engine as well as the 4.2-liter V8 engine."
"July 14, 2003
Start of RWD 6-speed automatic transmission production for Toyota
Unit for use in the Celsior (Lexus LS430)
The first TB-61SN model RWD 6-speed AT rolled off the production line at AW's Plant No. 1 on July 14, 2003.
The AT is delivered to Toyota, where it is being installed in the Celsior (Lexus LS430) sedan and represents the company's first 6-speed vehicle offering. By making use of new components such as an aluminum oil pump and a flat-type torque converter that combines high efficiency with a lightweight design, the transmission delivers 6-speed performance in a unit that offers the mounting flexibility of a conventional 5-speed model."

"Two manufacturers have worked with Volvo on the Volvo S80 automatics, General Motors and Aisin Warner.
Although they are similar in visual design and size, the two types differ slightly depending on their task. The GM transmissions are used for the six-cylinder cars, whereas the five-cylinder versions have AW transmissions (AW 55 50). The automatic transmission with the Geartronic function combined is however not available on the S80 2.4T."

"Volvo offers two transmissions to get the S60's power to the road. Arguably the most popular for the North American market will be the very compact Aisin Warner 55-50 five speed automatic transmission. This transmission features a particularly high final drive of 2.44:1 to offset its lack of overdrive ratios. Options for the Aisin Warner transmission include a driver-selectable shift gate called Steptronic that allows enthusiast drivers to aggressively change gears within the rev limits imposed by the transmission's electronic brain."

"Initially, all cars will be equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, but an automatic gearbox being developed in conjunction with Aisin Warner will be ready early next year."

"Automotive parts supplier to call Clinton home Oak Ridger - Oak Ridge,TN - The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development announced that Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc., a subsidiary of Japanese auto parts manufacturer Aisin Seiki Co. Ltd., is locating a 280,000-square-foot plant in the Clinton l-75 Industrial Park, just off Highway 61. The company, which is one of the Toyota groups, plans to create 400 jobs in the area by 2007."
"The 500 is undoubtedly a heavy car, weighing between 1652kg (Fwd) and 1730kg (4wd). Suspension is by strut up front and multi-link at the rear. There is only 1 engine: the Taurus? 3.0 Duratec V6 with 200hp and 200 lbft, so expect it to be slow. There are 2 transmissions: a Japanese Aisin 6-speed automatic or a ZF CVT. Optional 4wd uses the advanced Haldex multi-plate clutch to distribute power to rear wheels when necessary. It is basically the same system as the one using by Volvo S60, V70 and S80 AWD.
Mercury Montego
You might wonder why Ford USA is willing to invest a lot into the 500, in contrast to its money-saving approach to the new Mustang and Focus facelift. In fact, the 500 is built on the Volvo P2 platform (S60 / V70 / S80 / XC90) to save money. No wonder their suspension layout and 4WD system are identical. Moreover, it will share more cost with Ford Freestyle SUV, which is also built on the P2 platform and produced in the same plant in Chicargo. The plant has a capacity of 300,000 units."
