Carav 11-106 Radioblende
Guten Abend.
Ich habe mir eine Radioblende von Carav für meinen Mazda 6 (BJ. 2004) gekauft. Heute habe ich die Blende eingebaut und mit den Steckern war auch alles klar, bis auf einen. Den habe ich übrig, da er nur an die Blende passt und nirgends am Mazda. Jetzt funktionieren die Knöpfe der Blende nicht und auch der Bordcomputer will nicht mehr. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrungen mit der Blende und kann mir eine Anleitung für die Stecker zukommen lassen? Mit dem Händler habe ich telefoniert aber der konnte mir nicht weiterhelfen, da er keine Ahnung hat und eine Anleitung hat er angeblich selbst nicht.

I dont think though, that the clock would work, unless you wired up the ISO adapters to the Facia supplied plug. Thats the only way the Facia will get power as far as I can see. Hence why I bought this in order to try: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251162158550
In any case, it is shit, completely unacceptable level of tinkering required for something that ought to just slot in.
You're totally right. I'd rather get a plastic box und cut it by myself than buy a Carav Facia. Same effect and saves a lot of money too. So the only thing i can do is wait for the Metra and hope that it will work for me.
I will post the pics of my installation as soon as it arrives.

I installed the new harness now... Aircondition buttons work as they should, but the display is still dead. So I can guess the settings, but there is no feedback. How did you go with the new Facia?
Der Bordcomputer wird wahrscheinlich nicht funktionieren, da er den Strom vom Radio bekommt. Meine Vermutung ist, das die Belegung am Stecker nicht ganz stimmt. Evtl. muss man da Kabel vertauschen. Allerdings bekomme ich nirgendwo einen Plan für die Steckerbelegung.

Hello,
I'm orientating in buying a facia. Looking at uploaded pictues. The ISO harness 1 has 2 2pin connector and the ISO harness 2 has 2 loose wires. These are the CAN+ and CAN- wires (i think). Try connecting them to the 2 pin connector on the facia. the CANBUS is used to control the display.
