Tiguan mit 220PS TSI
Hallo liebe Motor Talk Gemeinde^^
Ich habe vor 6 Wochen meinen Tiguan bestellt (siehe. Thread Konfigurationen) und freue mich wirklich schon sehr auf ihn, allerdings hätte ich schon lieber den 2.0TSI mit 220PS gehabt aber da unklar ist wann dieser bestellbar ist und ich jetzt eh schon bis KW 40 warten muss werde ich damit wohl vorlieb nehmen müssen.
Weiss jemand wann genau der grosse Benziner verfügbar sein wird?
Und zur Optik:
Ihr kennt sicherlich die Heckpartie des neuen Passat mit 240PS TDI welcher diese wirklich nicht sehr gelungenen #Fake'Endrohre besitzt.
Der 220PS TSI hingegen hat blenden die mit Abgasen geflutet werden und wo keine Plastikkappe drin steckt.
Wird dies beim Tiguan auch so sein?
Finde es schade das dieser optische Leckerbissen nicht durch ein Optikpaket wie z.B. bei Touareg hinzubestellt werden kann sondern nur beim großen Motor verfügbar ist und mir so keine Wahl bleibt.
Länger warten ist auch keine Option da mein jetziges Fahrzeug zur KW 40 weg ist.

Heute erwischt. TSI (mit rotem SI) und RLine. War wohl Richtung Autohaus unterwegs.

Ich habe es auch getan, Upgrade auf 220PS für 1450€ mehr. Zur Zeit ist er wie zuvor mit 180PS auf kW44. Händler meinte aber das der Motor sehr begehrt sei und eine Verzögerung dadurch entstehen könnte. Hilft eh nur abwarten!
Kann ich mir bei dem moderaten Aufpreis gut vorstellen, das Upgrade hätte ich auch gemacht, wenn das DCC ohnehin in der Bestellung drinnen ist 😉
Der 220PS Tiguan ist im Konfigurator. Highline Preis ab 39.625 Euros. Mann oh Mann.
@indecent_mod - Ist dir aufgefallen das in diesem Fred schon seit 11. August geschrieben wird das er im Konfigurator verfügbar ist? 😉

Das war jetzt wirklich schon eine lange Wartezeit bis zur Bestellung, mal sehen wann er kommt. Ich hab auch unverbindlichen Liefertermin Dezember.
Wartet eigentlich jemand auf die 280PS?
Preisunterschied beträgt brutto 2.650 Euro. Ob hier auch ausstattungsbedingte Elemente drin stecken, kann ich nicht schnell erkennen, halte ich ab für möglich.

DCC ist hier bereits Serienausstattung.

Wer den Kram vorher nicht konfiguriert hat, muss also einiges mehr drauflegen.
Momentan bin ich mit dem Upgrade von kW 44 auf kW 43 gerutscht, unverbindlich natürliche!

Production starts w39 for 220 PS unless further delays, I summarize from your posts.
Then production takes the first countries for which the car was configurable in first. I assume something like this order;
1) Polen
2) Sweden (I live here)
3) Germany
Since I configured and ordered in May/June, I can expect pick up date to w40 -> w43
Seems odd I should get the car before my friends in Germany. This is just guesses from my side.
Anyone knows how the logicstics works?
Another question on 18 inch allows for Winter tires, does anyone know if other and smaller dimensions than those in the configurator fits? Like 215/55

@N78 I don't think that there will be smaller dimensions available for the Tiguan-2 than the 215th cause the smaller tires might don't stand the cars weight. Btw you're buying a 220HP car and than you want to put it on cycle wheels? Even on winter tires you have advantage on broad sizes (evtl with spikes). But, they have the disadvantage on using snow chains.
@chevie, I'm not planning on tires below 215/50. I'm thinking of 225 or 215 would be ok for the my 18 inch alloys. Sorry to say but you are very wrong on that broader wheels gives better grips on ice or snowy roads, what counts there is Newton per square cm pressure. I will get 255 wheels on the summer tires, and I'm fine with that.
For the matter, I have chosen Sebring 19 inch, above 20 inch Suzuka just like I chose 220 tsi above 240 tdi.
I believe the performance on the TSI outclass the TDI engine, even though the officiell figurers are the same on performance (yeah higher top speed on the TDI). The 19 inch allows (Sebring) gives you a lower-weight-below-the-DCC.
For me this is a family car not a sports car.

@N78 I'm also sorry, but you're wrong on you opinion on which smaller tires are better on snow (even on ice the broader ones are better when they are equipped with Spikes) cause its not the preassure per square inch what counts its the surface area which has ground contact, and this is bigger on broarder wheels 😉 But I don't want to dispute about this theme with you. Each of us has a different approache on this. Just feel free to ask uncle Google, you will be suprised the results you get 😉
You're right, the Tiguan is, even with one of the bigger machines, no sports car its still a suv, a family car, a car for fun or leisure. or just for allday use. I saw the broader tires not as an expression of a sports car I saw them in the view of saftyness for the Family car it's for you. As I allready noted I thought that too small tires would not stand the weight.
