Boot area accessory socket

Opel Meriva A

All,

Visited my dealer today and ordered a boot accessory socket. Does anyone know where it is located on models that have them as standard?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Paul,

here's the first hint: Take a look at the fuse box and find out if there is a fuse for a trailer coupling socket already in place. I don't think so, because your meriva isn't equipped with a trailer coupling. Put in a fuse as described in the handbook and check for power at the socket.

Cheers,

Harald

Excellent Harald, just popped a 20 A fuse in fuse holder 47 and it is working. You were correct the fuse is labelled trailer connection.

Many thanks,

Paul.

Hi Paul,

yes, it's so easy... I found that hint in another thread about the trailer connection socket. I was meanwhile looking at the fusebox of my car and yes, there is a 20A-fuse sitting in holder #47.

It was also confirmed by another forum writer.

Have fun with your little red rocket,

Harald
