Polo 1.4 GTI, hoher Ölverbrauch

VW Polo 5 (6R / 6C)

Mal sehen was es bringt.

Komplett neuer Motor kostet 4.800 € .

Rumpfmotor+Zusatz Material (Dichtungen ÖL etc) + Arbeitskosten.

Hi there...!

On my GTI I've changed the breather pipe and oil consumption seems a little better, even if already before was not so high (1literx10.000Km).

In my Country we still have a lot of cases of engines replaced and no improvements: one guy is now waiting for his third engine...!!! 🙁

We are all worried for what could happen after warranty expiry: I hope that VW will admit the problem and will not ask money: utopia??

Bye,
Max

VW always asks for money, because they are a company and not Jesus Christ.

You have your warranty and afterwards your money makes the difference.

Oil consumption for TSI 180 is a project defect, it's a bug, it's a terrible mistake, it's a coarse and incredible fault the even the worse Fiat doesn't have.

VW it's turning around since 2009 (Ibiza) with that, without find a definitive solution: that's why I'm expecting no money even if warranty is expired, especially from the European #1 car productor.

But if you say that will be not possible, ok, I'm not Jesus Christ, I will sell this shitty GTI immediately, or better, I will set fire to it in order to take money from the insurance because resale value is already under the shoes, at least here in Italy...

Probably my last German car...??? 🙁

I had two FIAT Coupe 20V Turbo with beautiful 5 Zylinder maschines.
Very strong, very fast, very funny and they were very expensive.
My second car was sold with 8000km, because as my first attempt it lost oil in such masses, you could watch it.

So shut up and get an FIAT.

My GTI is treated well and it treats me well, also.

I treat my GTI very well too and for now it's fine: before breather pipe replacement was 1 liter per 10.000Km, now it's even better.

But I can't drive a time bomb, knowing that when warranty will be expired I could find to have a pile of scrap metal to be disposed as a waste.

And damned the day when I dediced NOT to subscribe warranty extension: I said "I'm buying my third VW, never a problem, extension is not necessary at all..." 🙁

No problem, don't cry and get the better cars ... If your car runs good and oil consumption is OK, what the hell is your problem ?

Life always ends with your death, so will you kill yourself in panic ?

My problem is that I don't want to pay for other's mistake, if possible...

And what about this legal action done in Australia?

Here 33.000$ refund are asked, nice shot, not bad, I think it's just the least...

FAULTY POLO GTI REFUND

VW needs to wake up and start to take care of its customers finding a definitive solution for all GTI owners...!!! 🙁

The quality of this car is echoing all around the world, look at THIS POST

@Langas: can't realize how you can say that VW is not Jesus Christ!
Oil consumption for TSI-180 is an incredible bug, surveys all around the world say that about 50% of those engines are faulty and there's not yet experience on what could happen after 60.000/80.000Km.
And customers should endure all that? With the risk to spend a huge amount of money when warranty will be expired, without even know if the problem will be solved by then...???

This is not a single event, this is not to be "unlucky", this is just something that need to be solved soon (even for those like me that "for now" it's fine) and for free...!!!

That's incredible... 🙁

That's not so difficult. If you support the car with your heart and your money, i will support you.

But if you mention FIAT having the better quality, you will get the red card from me. That's it.

It seem's to be worth, supporting you, but do not talk about the FIATs in my presence, OK ? 😁
