Our legal adviser (lawyer) informed me that he has been in contact with MB Norway for the follow-up and closing of the case after the installation of the new coolant container. MB admitted their concept fail, and showed (as a demonstration of their goodwill) their costs (preliminary) for our car.
Repairs and parts : 450€, rental car for 3 months (car of same class): 11000€.
Now MB still has to reimburse my lost time (9 working days), hotel overnights, fuel and 4 ferry trips.
MB did not make much profit on my EQC. Luckily, attorney is payed by the car insurance.
So, again, people, get in contact with your dealers, demand the repair and try to recuperate all your lost time (according to national consumer laws). Remember that there is "no more Mr. Nice Customer" when it comes to this kind of expensive cars from high-end brands...
