Volvo OEM ambient lightning has 2 modes, first one when you open the door is set to the max (as seen on my picture) and the second mode when you are driving at night the light is dimmerized in order to avoid disturbing from the road. It works exactly as the oem mode, I prefer do not mix disco and driving : -)
