I got my aftermarket winter wheels road force tested. They were absolutely perfect. No imbalance and perfectly round. Still I have much vibrations with these wheels.
I then also got my oem style 662 wheels road force tested. The front wheels were perfect. The rear wheels had very small imperfections but according to the tyre shop it was well whiting margins and should not be a problem.
Funny thing is the with these wheels (662) I have the least vibrations (but still some).
The tyre shop had a completely different set of oem wheels they offered my to try on the rear so we did that of course and now the car was almost ok. At least up to 100 km/h. From 100 km/h and up I still get a kind of growling in the whole car (but almost no vibrations)
Should I ask the tyre shop to change my rear tyres? (Hankook Ventus S1 on now)
They thought it might help?
Ther suggested tyres were Pirelli or Nexen.
They recommended Nexen higher and said that they are a brand that often have really perfectly round tyres.
