With charger you mean the wallbox or charging station?
That simply depends on what type of wallbox/charging station you use.
There are plenty out there for private or public use, which are capable of 22kW.
The flexible fast charger however is only capable of 11kW.
I mean the flexible charger as the thread is for flexible chargers. The original question was why bmw provides 32A adapter for the flexible charger, when the flexible charger is only capable of 16A.
