Zündkerzen wechseln im T4 MJ 2017

Original sollen die Iridiuim-Kerzen von Denso drin sein. Die würde ich auch wieder reinmachen.

Angeblich lt.Volvo schon bei 60.000 km zu wechseln (?). Das ist eigentlich das Intervall für Kupfer-Kerzen.

Platin oder Iridium sollen mind. 80-100.000 halten. Aber das wollte ich hier eigentlich nicht diskutieren, sondern wie ich sie wechsle mit einzelnen Schritten. Brauche ich extra Werkzeug dazu oder ist es irgendwo

knifflig, so daß ich es als Hobby-Schrauber nicht hinkriege?

Wäre dankbar, wenn mir ein Experte das in einzelnen Schritten erläutern könnte-

The change is probably shorter because these are GDI engines, which are harder on spark plugs.

Remove the engine cover, then detach the hose from the breather cover (where the oil filler cap resides). Detach the wiring connectors to each of the four ignition coils, then unbolt and remove the coils. The spark plugs are at the bottom of the chambers exposed by removing the coils. It is easiest to use a long thinwall 14mm spark plug socket to remove the plugs, but a normal 14mm socket and extension bar will do.

Be very careful fitting the new plugs, it is easy to cross thread them. I fit the new plugs to a length of plastic tubing to drop them back into the chambers, and turn them gently until I am happy that they are correctly thread before tightening them with a socket.

The torque for the plugs is 18 Nm and for the ignition coil bolts it is 10 Nm.
