I own Audi Q8 50 TDI, produced late 2022, with pretty much all equipment, including all assistance systems, few days ago I saw a friend with same model Q8 but he got it 1 year later, car is exactly the same, not the facelift version, has same equipment, but has MMI Software version 4014 and he has this new Area View which is also available on the new facelift Q8, so far I've seen this feature available on pre facelift Q8, as well Q7 which didn't have any facelift recently.
However my car currently has this software version: 3801 - does anyone have any experience with updating car's firmware to 4014 or something even newer? Since it's the same car it's logical for me for this to be possible.
I'm planning to visit dealership soon and ask them to do firmware updates, as I said, car is exactly the same, same model, even the Q7 has this new feature and improved views.
