I recall reading on a forum that BMW offered a solution for this issue in the summer of 2024. The solution was a revised mirror design and thicker front side windows. I did not notice any strange noise during my test drive, the car was build in october 2024. I am trying to find it again to post it here, but somehow I cannot find it anymore.
