Recently come to Germany and now looking to buy some used car for personal use
My budget is up to 8000€, if it's really worth it could go a little bit higher
So my usage is mostly city, at leaste once per month some trip of few hundreds km, few times per year longer trips 800-1000km in one way.
I would like that car is comfortable, that have good noise isolation at speed 160-180 km/h, that is reliable. If possible in this budget would be great find something with automatic transmission but it's not mandatory.
Type of car could be sedan, coupe or hatchback.
Hope so that I can find something in this budget that fits my requirements.
Thanks in advance

There're some areas where even quite modern Diesel cars aren't allowed even if they have the green Umweltzonen-Plakette.
I can't tell you how much the price difference between petrol and Diesel will change in the future. You can find the current prices from the federal gas price database e.g. here: https://www.tankerkoenig.de/
Probably your driving profile is ok for Diesel. But don't forget higher maintenance and car tax costs.
Websites to compare insurances are e.g. https://www.verivox.de/kfz-versicherung/vergleich/ and https://www.check24.de/kfz-versicherung/
But be careful. Sometimes things (not only for insurances) are activated by default, e.g. "Nur mit direkter Wechselmöglichkeit" = no tariffs are shown where they can't do the new contract for you, which may be cheaper.
