kann mir einer von Euch verraten, wann das Modelljahr 2014 genau startet? Ist vielleicht schon bekannt, welche Änderungen zu dem folgenden Modelljahr vorgenommen werden?
Sind eventuell neue Sondermodelle geplant?

Die Werte von MTM stimmen natürlich nicht.
Auf der VW Homepage stehen ja die Werksangaben und auf die würd ich mich verlassen.
Fahrleistungen
Höchstgeschwindigkeit 210Ps: 227 km/h 200Ps: 223 km/h
Beschleunigung 0-100 km/h 210Ps: 7,3 s 200Ps: 7,5 s
und die 10 Ps mehr wird man nur Subjetiv merken. Das ist das gleiche wie wenn ein Auto einen lauteren Motor hat, es kommt dir einfach schneller vor.

Mich würde das auch brennend interessieren. Hab am 18.3. bestellt - vielleicht bekomme ich dann das neue Baujahr?
PS: Sondermodelle sollen jedes Jahr erscheinen laut VW. Die 50s, 60s und 70s gibt es nur 2013 zur Einführung.
Der Beetle hat einen extrem langen Modellzyklus.
Das Letzte Modell lief 13 Jahre inklusive eines Facelifts. Bei Ur Modell Käfer war der Modellzyklus historisch.
Resultierend ist zu erwarten, dass der Beetle III wohl auf der Plattform eines Golf 8 oder 9 kommen wird.
Dementsprechend sind die Änderungen von einem zum anderen Modelljahr beim Beetle minimal. Große Vorteile durch das Warten wirst Du nicht haben.
Einzig die o.g. Sondermodelle sind eine Option wo man das eine oder andere Extra "mitnehmen" kann.

Ist eine 184 PS Diesel Variante in Planung? Optisch interessiere ich mich sehr für den Käfer aber ich brauche nen Diesel und tendiere sonst eher zum GTD

Mich würde ja schon der aktuelle 150PS 2l CR TDI beglücken, aber auch da scheint sich nichts zu tun🙁

Im deutschen Konfigurator hat der 2.0 TSI auch 210 PS. Ich würde davon ausgehen, dass VW hier weltweit die gleichen Aggregate einbaut.

war grade mal im Konfigurator drin,das einzige was ich da noch auswählen kann bei Beetle ist "Remix" alles andere wird mir nicht angezeigt.Kein Sport oder sonst was 🙁

Welchen Motor hat denn dann der GSR? Den alten, auf 210 PS gepimpt oder auch schon den neuen?

Der Beetle hat doch schon von Anfang an den Motor des Golf 6 GTI, nur halt mit anderer Leistungsfreigabe.
