Themenstarteram 23. April 2008 um 13:59

Hello,

I'm a student from Lithuania and I'm comming to berlin for a few days. I know that in Germany cars are cheaper than in Lithuania so I'm trying to find cheap and good car around berlin. As I'm student so I have very low income. I'm looking for a car which would cost about 1700EU. If anyone could help me plese write for me here o to my email esimkun@gmail.com

Advantage would be for BMW but I'm intrested in other cars as well.

Thank you.

Kiesplatzhändler often means a person with a turban on his head and oriental floors in his office and car.

Most people in this forum hate these persons, they think he would be a gangster.

Bullshit.

But there are many car dealers, especially in berlin, who are dealing with cars that are not in good condition and say it is the best car in the world.

These people exist in all nations, there are german dealers too that do something like that.

I think it is better to buy a car at a big car dealer (mostly very expensive, and dont deals with this old an cheap cars) or from a private person you can trust.

The best is if the car has original documentation from bmw with the data and facts from the inspections. This is called "Scheckheft/Scheckheftgepflegt" in Germany.

I think ricoxxx gave you a good advice.

Why not buy a car in your country ??

Keep in mind that a car you choose on the internet is presumably sold when you are in germany. Without giving the vendor a call in advance you will probably fail.

So try to get some extra informations by phone if you necessarily want to buy the car in germany. You will see not every german speeks english.

Good luck.......you will need it ;)
