buying BMW
Hello,
I'm a student from Lithuania and I'm comming to berlin for a few days. I know that in Germany cars are cheaper than in Lithuania so I'm trying to find cheap and good car around berlin. As I'm student so I have very low income. I'm looking for a car which would cost about 1700EU. If anyone could help me plese write for me here o to my email esimkun@gmail.com
Advantage would be for BMW but I'm intrested in other cars as well.
Thank you.

Kiesplatzhändler often means a person with a turban on his head and oriental floors in his office and car.
Most people in this forum hate these persons, they think he would be a gangster.
Bullshit.
But there are many car dealers, especially in berlin, who are dealing with cars that are not in good condition and say it is the best car in the world.
These people exist in all nations, there are german dealers too that do something like that.
I think it is better to buy a car at a big car dealer (mostly very expensive, and dont deals with this old an cheap cars) or from a private person you can trust.
The best is if the car has original documentation from bmw with the data and facts from the inspections. This is called "Scheckheft/Scheckheftgepflegt" in Germany.

It should be cheaper because in lithuania almoust all the cars are from Germany and France.
I found one car one the mobile.de but how to know that that car will be in good condition? or that will be able to ride 1500km to the lithuania?

The only was to find out is to call the owner of the car and ask him oder to drive to the place where the car stand and have a look at it.
You'll have to hope that the owner speaks english.
EDIT: The car is not bad for the price, but without driving it and have a look at it you cant say something.

the other car would be: http://suchen.mobile.de/.../showDetails.html?...

the first one you can forget, its a "kiesplatzhändler" in neukölln, wahrscheinlich mit südländischem Akzent...

Naja ich weiß ja nicht, aber ein bisschen übertrieben ist das schon was du da oben schreibst oder sehe ich das nur so? Hört sich nicht besonders Ausländerfreundlich an!!!
