"Android"-Handys am Command online
Hallo Leute,

I've tested it with HTC Desire HD , Galaxy Note and Galaxy SII. No feedback about other devices, please install the trial version and try if it works for your phone.
I have the Google Nexus S with ICS 4.0.3, but I have a question about the usage of my personal data. Why does this app needs to send and read sms? Why do this app need the ability to read my complete contact list?

This is the minimal configuration required to work with bluetooth service; anyway the app is absolutely secure, it performs only a bridge between the comand and the phone internet connection. All the received packets are forwarded in the both directions. It doesn't access to the contact list or sms
grundsätzlich klasse, die app. bis auf die geringfügige einschränkung, daß sie nicht funktioniert. 🙄

this morning i had to reflash back to standard 2.3.6 on Galaxy S2. Deauthed phone in car, reauthed and connected. App showed that is was connected (0 bytes received/sent). The I hit the 'command offline' button... connecting.....connection failed. And that was it.
Not had time to play yet nor have i tested with 4.0.3. I'll see if anyone else has more luck.
ausserdem, hab ich auch mit CObaltBLue3 versucht. TCP Stack: "navi", ging aber auch nicht bis jetzt. Das Nokia funzt noch wunderbar...

1. turn off the bluetooth on the phone and trun on it again (close all previuos transmissions)
2. open the app and click the "Start Service" button; you should see now the "Stop Service" label
3. remove the old pairing between the phone and the comand; create it again (I think you can use also the refresh function)
4. set any provider ... don't care about the provider parameters, the app doesn't need them
5. open the web page link or the comand on line page
this is exactly what i did. and, yes, the connection screen appears when i hit the internet buttom at comand online. but it shows four times zero - no received data, no sended data, no udp, no tcp. and comand online tries to connect but does of course not succeed.

Yep me too. In fact i did this 4 times... just to be sure :-)
1,2 ok.
3, ok had to authorize all over again, accept MB-bluetooth wants access to phonebook again etc
4, set provider to vodafone for me (VDFWeb)
5. connecting to VDFweb....pause... Connection Failed. (even took a camera shot)
Not sure if there is a hidden log file or similar. On the CobaltBlue3 app, the log file is shown on the screen as you connect (modem connect to navi) and all is ok. it all connects, but the web does not start. Only thing is i speak better english than japanese, so giving this app a try.
thanks.

What is your phone brand and the Android version?
How many UDP connections you can see in the phone?
There are possible causes:
- your Mobile operator blocks UDP traffic
- your phone is not powerfull enought to support the traffic exchange
- you don't have a good signal for the mobile connection (EDGE is non sufficient, UMTS / HSDPA or WiFI is required )
samsung galaxy s2, unbranded, android 2.3.4
Ok, the phone is supported, I've tested it; try to switch to the wifi network if you can, for a test.
You can also download an app like UDP Tester to check if your mobile operator locks UDP connections.
If the connection fails, try to stop the service and start it again
If you have time to test the app I can send you a test version of the apk with a log file write capability

I can test the app towards end of week or evenings. Btw, i use the same sim card in my nokia and it all works. So it has nothing to do with udp etc. If i park real close to my house i can use wireless connection to test later too.
Hello,
I tried your App yesterday with a HTC Sensation (Vodafone Branding). UDP is possible,
I can use my phone to connect my notebook with the internet via umts.
I removed the connection between phone and comand and I reconnected it.
Everything looked fine but I had the same problem as biffamercedes.
Here is a test apk with log capability.
If you want to try it, uninstall the trial app before
Follow the 5 steps above...
You should find a log file inside the SDCARD:
/mnt/sdcard/com.bluedun/application.log
Please send me this file.
P.S. I've removed all unrequired access permissions (like SMS and contacts)
I just tested it. Now I get an error message:
java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer
