Audi TT 2001 Radio safe code how to

Hi!

I replaced the battery from my TT and now I have to input the safe code to the radio to get it working. The radio is an original audi part. My manual isnt "speaking english", so cannot use it.

I have heard that I have to press some keys from the radio but dont know which.

Hello Pete,

I try to answer, although my English is not the best:

-> Press the keys ""SCAN" and "RDS" at the same time, until "SAFE" turns into "1000"

-> There are four station-keys.

Press the first station-key as often as your first code number.

For example, your first code number is five, you press the first key five times.

Do the same with the second station-key and your second code number,

and so on.

-> At the end you press the keys "SCAN" and "RDS" at the same time again.

Be careful, if you fail several times, your code is closed and you have to go to the AUDI-dealer.
